TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I've no problems with the frets at all, from what I understand, they are big ones. The neck is quite quick, but doesn't run away with you like a pointy Ibanez or something.
Bigsby
I've no problems with the frets at all, from what I understand, they are big ones. The neck is quite quick, but doesn't run away with you like a pointy Ibanez or something. On the ones I played they were all sharp, sticking out the ends and unfinished. The higher end Gibsons have "nibs" so they can't get away with stuff like that. By contrast the PRS Bernie Marsden I played was flawless. Moon Moon
Cool stuff, how are the frets? When I played some of the cheap Les Pauls at Guitar Guitar last year I was appalled at how sharp they were, unacceptable on a guitar at any price.its the same with my mates gibson s.g special i find it horrible to play it feels cheap and yeh the frets were really sharp Edited December 24, 2013 by YoungA

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
As the missus is great and knows things that I like, she got me some new pickups for my '52 reissue Telecaster: Of course, they are lace sensors, which are my favourite! My tele couldn't really cut the mustard when it came to higher gain applications, which was a real pity as it was a guitar that I used pretty much entirely with Panda Eyes. So, now it's been hot-rodded, I think it'll be making more appearances again. The sound of the pick ups is exactly what I wanted, the clear "Hi-Fi" tone of the lace sensor, but they've not over done them, so it still has that Tele twang and boldness. I think that they also compliment the style of the guitar.
Soda Jerk
You missed off some pretty important details. Do they do pinches? Edited December 27, 2013 by Joda Serk
neepheid
New amp. Ashdown Little Bastard 30Watt and 2x12 cab. Used it at practise and it managed to keep up - just - but I think that's because the 810 I used wasn't sensitive enough. The 212 is a high sensitivity cab so I reckon this might have even more oomph. I'd only ever used solid state amps before this guy, but I'm a true tube believer now. xx S'pose that's you spent all your pennies now
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
You missed off some pretty important details. Do they do pinches?Well, in the aftermath of my first pinch, I heard a commotion from my next door neighbours. At first I thought they were banging on the wall, complaining about the noise, but when I listened closer, I could hear a round of applause. Job done.
Stroopy121
S'pose that's you spent all your pennies now Yes and no. I sold my old amp to fund this. In the new year I plan to sell a couple of guitars/some parts to fund buying one of yours! xx

Moon Moon
Consider selling/ trading your hohner gold top?
Cossackmannie
Unlikely as that's the one I'm probably most fond of. No idea how much it's worth either. I was given it as a thank you by a close friend so I don't look at the Hohner in a monetary sense. Ian
Moon Moon
Remember that stagg gold top that's made it's way around the forum a bit? We'll I've got it back as I miss it and I finished adding a bigsby to it <a href="http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/youngadolesent/media/6830A6EE-483E-4128-8B87-C2244E4C9E8F_zpspuzqn5uq.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/y531/youngadolesent/6830A6EE-483E-4128-8B87-C2244E4C9E8F_zpspuzqn5uq.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 6830A6EE-483E-4128-8B87-C2244E4C9E8F_zpspuzqn5uq.jpg"/></a>

Bigsby
I can't really see how that's going to work. Also, it's squint.
Moon Moon
I know, the bigsby wasn't quite long enough width ways so I had to put it at a bit of an angle it's complicated but it works fine like a normal bigsby looks cool though
colb
I used to own that GoldTop. For a cheapy Stagg it sounded pretty good and had a nice neck. Now it's just another guitar ruined by YoungA.
Moon Moon
Haha the guitar still works fine and everything still plays fine all it needs is intonated plays lovely especially since it has a polarity mod too
Flights
That's a shame, it was a nice guitar that. It was my girlfriends guitar originally and it's done the rounds one here. A squint bigsby is really gonna make inotation difficult. Please don't do anything to that squier tele you have, it's a great playing guitar and really doesn't need anything done to it. Not meaning to sound like an asshole here but you've completely written off that guitar. I seriously doubt anyone would want to buy it in its current state. 1
