You've gone on about the English media before, and I agree on many counts. Tabloidism, football etc then fine, it's notible other areas of course, but I've read a lot of the reviews from the weekend and that statement is bullshit. Were you buying toilet paper to read? chilli
will scotland ever play a team who knocked on so much with ball iin handwhen they didn't fumble they scored tries.........
crooked*smile
will scotland ever play a team who knocked on so much with ball iin handwhen they didn't fumble they scored tries.........Ah, but the strong scottish defence forced alot of those errors. And in fairness, when the french did score tries, they were stopped repeatedly by the scottish defence first. Will the scots play another team with such relentless attack?I cannot wait for this weekend, and next!!
Rachie
So several weeks on from the start of this...England remain unbeaten (although Italy put up a great fight 2 weeks ago), France beat Ireland (yet totally did not deserve to, they played a lazy game.) and Scotland lost to Wales in Cardiff after being a man down.Ho hum.And Italy are now a point ahead of France in their game, noice! Rachie
Aye, but with the win against England who were the unbeaten side in the tournament so far, I reckon we could do well. Both games will be good 'uns though, Italy have been doing pretty well, just not following through with it. Hog
The English media must be having problems..I must admit it was a bit patronising when The News reporter called it a "shock victory". Scotland have actually beaten England before.

Scotland have actually beaten England before. It wasn't exactly an 'expected' win though. Six years since Scotland last beat 'em with an English team far superior on paper. Scorge
Anyone know what the William Hill odds for Scotland to win were?I put a fiver on but forgot to check the odds I flung on two spreads on the betting indexes at half time and came out 80 up. Wish I'd been able to hop across Edinburgh for the game though.....

Gall_4185
Ye fucking beauty. I got called into work to help out during the second half. Cue me trying to refrain from dancing up and down the bar for five minutes after the final whistle. Great match(and not even purely because we won)

Rachie
Aye. Both our final games are away, which will be interesting.Ireland played a strong game yesterday against Wales, but if they make the same mistakes they kept making in the match against France we might have a chance there.
