julia
Opinions on this band? I've seen them a few times and all were fantastic. Anyone else going to the Lemon Tree gig?
spleen_of_gold
I'm not, but my friend was interested in finding out more about this band. When are they playing the lemon tree?
Marn
I've been meaning to check out some of their stuff as they've been recommended to me by quite a few people. I may well consider the lemon tree gig.
NARC
I think you better hurry if you want tickets, I bought six though so it's all good.Yeah saw them supporting Idlewild, well worth a listen if you like a kinda traditional Scottish rootsy sound with a rock edge. That's what I think anyway!
The Lizard King
i think they are really good. narc got me a ticket for the lemontree gig so that will be good. Alkaline
I was pleasently surprised by them when i saw them at the lemon tree last year. I didn't like them on cd, but they were a band whos performance live managed to add a new perspective to their music. I now don't mind listening to them, but they aren't really my usual thing musically so i don't think i'll venture to the lemon tree to see them again. lepeep
I am up in the deen, and I have my ticket.great stuff...raw and rockin, in an old fashioned kind of way.saw them in edinburgh at new year, supporting the fire engines (along with Aberfeldy)...good gig, shame the headline was so shite. (fire engines)....now that's a case of old farts that shouldn't bother. dull as dishwater.thumbs up from me for the sons and daughters. peter
I saw them supporting Delgados, and they reminded me of Runrig for some reason. Probably the bass drum thumping thing, I don't know. Nae bad, but didn't rock my world. Their mini-album CD is OK.They are VERY hyped up though.

Guest bluesxman
Bought Love The Cup on import, saw them at the Lemon Tree last time, thought they were brilliant, got my tickets for next week, cannot wait. I don't really think they sound particularly like any other band.

jimr
I want to marry Ailidh Lennon. I can't recall much of their set at primavera because I was distracted by her the entire time. Ooh Ooh, she could whip out her mandolin and take away my insomnia, I know she could .
julia
I've seen em 3 times and I love them. Ailidh also said I was the best looking fan she's met when I met her. They're really nice people. All beautiful. Great music too.

JME
I thought they were really poor supporting Idlewild, the guitarist seemed lost.

JME
Damm right, they were awesome apart from that questionably long instrumental bit in the midle.
julia
Yeah Idlewild were great but that bit went on too long
