It was a great gig. The thing that ruined it for me were the group of guys who pushed infront of everyone and spent the night chanting PETE PETE PETE. Saying that, didn't see them much after the fire alarm. I saw the news earlier, they didn't seem to be slating the band about it but P & J was speaking about the "controversial" band not turning up at the lemon tree before. Still, blaming the band for the violence would be totally unfair.
  2. Wish I heard Silver Reef, heard good reports and soundcheck sounded awesome. Kitchen Cynics where definately the best thing I saw for the time I was there. On the subject of the gig does anyone have any idea of the whereabouts of my trilby? Last time I let Fraser borrow anything.
  3. I managed to get my ticket last night fine. Just search Belle in the search engine thingy. Perth was great...nearly whole If You're Feeling Sinister album! Hope they play more from Fold Your Arms though. Are they playing new material on this tour?
  4. Hmmm I like both Hard fi and Dead 60's. The latter are more ska though. Rather like the song myself.
  5. I heard a lot of it off the net (well, what there was of it) at the end of last year from xmas gig/download. Seems rather tasty.
  6. I never buy music online. I do have use itunes but only really to burn cds on to my music player. Personally, I still like vinyls over CDs
  7. Cheers! looking forward to it
  8. Just heard the Kills are meant to be playing on 24th October. Can anyone confirm this? Love to see 'em.
  9. Changed my mind. Just got my ticket.
  10. I'd quite like to go but probably won't. Libs were better anyway.

  12. This is really hard just to pick one but I'm gonna say Sons and Daughters when they played last august. Only gig I've been to with no barrier and not too many people there so I just sang and danced in front of the stage. Sayin that looks like I've missed a lot of good ones.
  13. Do cover bands get gigs anywhere and if so where?
