What Cd's have you been buying recently?

is it good though?

I don't think they have done anything good since remission mind you....

I've listened through the whole album twice but I'm enjoying it. They've definitely toned down the heavyness from Blood Mountain though, so make of that what you will.

I don't think they'll ever top Remission either.

Recently got:

Good Clean Fun - Between Christian Rock And A Hard Place

Obscura - Cosmogenesis

Autopsy - Severed Survival Re-Issue

And apparently, after months of waiting, my Supermachiner - Rust cd is finally on its way from Deathwish...

I bought the Cosmogenesis on Saturday too. Amazing album. IMO probably the best tech death release since Defiant Imagination by Quo Vadis.

I bought the new Ephel Duath album 'Through My Dogs Eyes' too.

What are Arbouretum like?

You heard Human Bell before?

One of the guys from said band is in them and they are amazing.

I enjoyed the Arbouretum CD, if you like Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's more amped up moments I think you would like it....haven't heard Human Bell as yet but strangely enough I ordered the CD the other day after reading a write up that made it sound appealing....

yeah its all instrumental and weirdly reminds me of isis' mellower bits. It's very percussive and very rich/warm sounding. I did the sound for them when they played Aberdeen as part of the tryptych festival and they were just immense.

Ah don't tell me that, I'm going to end up loving the CD and being hacked off they played here and I missed it....
