  1. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitars/ibanez-rg321-electric-guitar the reviews speak for themselves. Anyone want it? Have everything I need so cash offers only now. If you bought this and sold the EMG's and case you could easily end up paying <£100 for the guitar and have money for upgrading however you want.
  2. Nothing on your lists interests me I'm afraid. I don't like FPS or fighting games really. Plus for Skyrim would definitely be a few week as opposed to permanent swap. I need to buy Dawnguard when it goes half price on sale and probably have a 2nd playthrough.
  3. I have Ivanovic and Torres in my fantasy football team. My bad start to the season just got worse They may as well send Hazard off to and make my score for the week negative.
  4. Right full list. Didn't realise I had about 40 games until I sat down and counted them! May well stick some up in a for sale thread. I honestly haven't even played half of these. Some of them I didn't even know I owned. Plastic instrument games Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock Lego Rock Band The Beatles Rock Band Rock Band 2 Rock Band Song pack 2 RPG's The Witcher 2 Dark Souls Eternal Sonata Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Blue Dragon Lost Odyssey Final Fantasy 13 Dungeon Siege 3 Sports Games FIFA 2010 FIFA 2011 FIFA 2012 Rockstar Presents: Table Tennis Virtua Tennis 3 Pure Football Shooters: Bioshock Deus Ex Human Revolution Fallout 3 Fallout New Vegas The Rest Grand Theft Auto IV Driver San Francisco Kung Fu Panda & Lego Indiana Jones (both in one pack) Pure & Lego Batman (both in one pack) Viva Pinata & Forza 2 (both in one pack) Project Gotham Racing 4 Assassins Creed Resident Evil 5 Let's see what people have for trade. You can probably tell what I like from this list
  5. We talking permanent or swap for a few weeks? I've got a bunch of stuff, mostly RPGs and a couple of shooters like bioshock, and deus ex and such like I may swap for a few weeks. I say for a few weeks as I have barely played half of my games! RPG wise got stuff like eternal sonata, lost odyssey, dungeon siege 3, the witcher 2, Blue dragon, divinity 2 dragon knight saga, and a few more. Will check when I get home.
  6. In a shop? If so, do tell! I'd pay that for it without thinking, full price put me off somewhat as not sure how much I'd play it.
  7. Should finally be able to complete rig later this week. Looking to run an amp in parallel with a preamp/poweramp through an A-B box and connect the output to my cab because I'm lazy and want the ease of having both setups at hand. 1) I intend to use a single 2x12 with 16ohm v30's in mono. Both amps setup for 8 Ohm load. I am fully aware that each will need a speaker load so are there any pedals that act as a dummy load when only one is connected? I don't see the cheaper ones being capable of that. 2) Can anyone recommend me one that is reasonably affordable and that doesn't have sound bleeding between the channels or ground hum? Not concerned with super fast switching at the moment as it's purely for home use but would make it easier. One is a 4watt head and the other will likely be a 3w poweramp at pretty low volumes so I am hoping that the sound bleeding won't be an issue. Say £40-£50 budget? Need to order a heap of stuff at the one time and unless some more gear sells can't really stretch any further. I can get a Radial Bigshot ABY in that range. That do the job? If there is nothing in that budget that will suffice, will just do the old fashioned way and swap the rigs around between use, but I'd prefer the A/B box! Also looking for a power supply capable of running a couple of pedals I want. They are both 18V. One can accept 2 9v's (otherwise 150mA). The other has a 500mA power usage. I can't buy the official power supply as nowhere seems to sell it! Can anyone suggest an 18V dc supply that supplies at least 500mA for one of these? http://amtelectronics.com/download_file.php?download_propertys_items_id=1280 I would be asking for you to suggest a suitable power brick for powering my pedals but I really can't afford a proper isolated output one with as many outputs as I need. I'd need those two pedals, plus a tuner, tubescreamer, delay, noisegate and probably going to add a chorus to that. So if I can't find a pedal with dedicated 18v outputs I'd need nine 9V outputs and 2 of the voltage double cables for linking two outputs. Maybe also throw another OD pedal into the mix if needed which is 250mA 9V. If I am using a voltage double cable for the 18V pedals not sure how I'd fit that one in on most units. A lot seem to have very few high current outputs. Unless anyone can think of a cheap power brick that can fit in all of that and isn't too noisy, but don't think such a thing exists! Cheers for the help!
  8. Bump. Someone please buy this Could do with the cash to fund the rest of my rig. Have amp, just needing cab and possibly a poweramp for a preamp I will be getting so may swap for those.
  9. Germany have thrown away a 4-0 lead with 30 mins to play against Sweden. It finished 4-4. If they had lost that match it would have been the greatest comeback ever. Imagine if Zlatan had scored the winner to make it 5-4? Probably would have genuinely been crowned King Zlatan. Also Northern Ireland are beating Portugal 1-0 at half time. I'll be watching the second half there.
  10. Watch Belgium ripping Scotland apart on BBC1 Scotland instead. Only marginally less depressing than Chiles moaning to fill some space with no football.
  11. The polish media officer says the following - "At the moment it is not possible to close the roof because of the heavy rain and the wind. It might be possible. We have a heating system which, if we close the roof, can dry the pitch in 30 minutes. I know this situation is not very nice, but please wait until the inspection." Best. Roof. Ever.
  12. They do an educational institution discount so sweetens the deal for uni staff as well as students. Used to be 15% so at that rate works out a fair bit once you're spending £1000 on a Macbook. May have changed. http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/education_routing
  13. You want bottom end and unpolite? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BARE-KNUCKLE-WARPIG-BRIDGE-PICKUP-BAREKNUCKLE-/130775750186?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item1e72d7962a Great clean tone too when tapped. A lot more versatile than you'd think. https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/pickups.php?cat=humbuckers⊂=contemporary&pickup=warpig
  14. Has anyone suggested a credit card? They usually give you 6 or 9 months interest free on your balance and if you haven't paid it up you can just transfer it to another company who will give you more interest free periods on balance transfer. Not something I would personally do as I hate to be spending money I don't physically have, but I will be getting a credit card sooner or later for buying a holiday. At least they give you better protection when booking flights etc.
  15. They say an oversized bun and who knows how many chips. I have a pretty big appetite and as I said, could barely move after eating this. That was only one burger (dunno how many ounces as it was clearly hand made and not one of those crappy frozen ones) with a bit of pulled pork and chorizo and a fairly small portion of chips. Unless they are reasonable small burgers not sure it would be terribly easy unless you starved yourself all day beforehand! What kind of measurement is 6oz anyway. 3/8's of a pound. 1/4 or 1/2 pounders just sound more satisfying. Also - whisper it, I don't really like steak. So I have no idea what 24oz of meat looks like. I know what a pound of mince looks like but who knows what crap they put in the burger to bulk them up.Not sure I have ever eaten that much meat before in one sitting! Although to keep up with the joke trend here recently feel free to make your own joke about that one time I went cottaging.
  16. Plenty of time restricted ones on Man Vs Food. I think most of those were the spice challenges which makes a bit more sense. The presenter always says he does all the eating in the first 20 minutes anyway. I've never had food in Slains so no idea what it's like with regards to food poisoning jokes! £17.50 does seem way too pricey for what it is though. The awesome burger I had in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago was £7.25 and I could barely move after eating that. I'd wager it was a hell of a lot tastier too. All fresh ingredients. I'd be shocked if Slains as a typical chain didn't use frozen burgers and chips. Not sure a) I could eat this or b) I'd want to pay that much for it! Suppose the price takes into account all the free ones they will give away though.
  17. Saw this in Slains yesterday. Not been there in ages so haven't noticed it until now. Inaugural Aberdeen Music eating challenge
  18. Looking at potential holiday places and things to do in those cities. On trip advisor the number one rated attraction is a shooting range. Not sure if this is ace or fucking scary. It was 10 years ago but I have been to a shooting range in Scotland and security is much tighter here thanks to Dunblane and other tragedies and our general opinion owning guns is bad. Even taking these into account I still find it pretty staggering they have an entire arsenal which is not kept locked and they have 3 people standing beside each other at a shoddy table firing the rifles! The #2 ranked attraction is a wine celler. Wine and shooting ranges. A winning combination. Still, it does look quite fun
  19. I only suggested going to II as I didn't know R&B stocked ENGL. The last time I spoke to you about getting an ENGL cab you bemoaned the fact II were the main distributors so I wrongly assumed they didn't have any. I stand corrected! Also James is basically the lord of everything ENGL and ESP related. I was merely suggesting a few amps that he probably hadn't considered! Incidentally James, tried any of the AMT pedals? The new legend ones look ace and it's basically a pretty good emulation of an ENGL head in a pedal for £100. That and a poweramp would be monstrous back up and super portable. http://amtelectronics.com/products/la-2_guitar_preamp_series/ Something like the tubecake or electroharmonix 22/44w poweramps would be a rig in 2 pedals. AMT is awesome. I'd happily buy everything they made if I had the cash. The Fred Brum demo has the E2/D2 and P2 pedals all mixed in different channels/parts of the song.
  20. Until I can get a cab (hopefully in the next few weeks unless someone is selling a cheap one, waiting on tax rebate and a guitar to sell )this is my rather cute, but incredibly useless rig. Almost tempted to get one of those PPC108's they sell with the micro terror to keep up the small head/even smaller cab idea. Looks nifty. There is a DI output from the Little Rock but I need to phone Matamp and ask if it acts as a dummy load so I can safely use it without a cab.
  21. Yes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolyte explains it better than I can. I am sure there have been some recommendations before for holiday places - so can anyone recommend me a place to go on holiday please? Getting some scholarship money I wasn't expecting and the gf and I want to go somewhere to celebrate end of uni. Budget probably £500-£700 each. Sadly all the places I want to go are far more expensive than that Not one of these lie on a beach for a week resorts. Want to experience culture/history and all that stuff. Preferably not too hot as I am basically a vampire and burn in the sun in seconds. Either April or July next year. Thanks
  22. Start with Jane Doe and You Fail Me. Still shocked you'd never listened to Converge. Next you will be saying you haven't heard of Botch or something
  23. Haven't heard a single good thing about the Gigmaster from guys that play metal! Most guys that bought them ended up sending them back. Heard much better things about the H&K Tubemeister. If you are really wanting to that kind of cash on a low watt head I'd maybe try the Silverblade Hellhoud or a Baron Snotwatt (it's only 5 watts though) out of curiosity. I'd love one of the Snotwatt's but would be about £600 with FX loop after shipping and VAT which is over budget atm. I'd heard many people say the Snotwatt is untouchable in the low watt/high gain amps league from 7/8 string players. http://www.silverbladeaudio.com/hellhound.html here is the Baron Custom amps page. http://www.baroncustomamps.com/snott.php Actually please get the Snot Watt so I can try it. Looks and sounds badass. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3602793/Snott Watt4.mp3 more pics and stuff here. http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gear-equipment/131413-its-here-nad.html If you really want a smaller tube ENGL what about the e530 or not after a preamp? Has a built in 3w solid state poweramp for home use too or you could run it through FX loop of your other heads. Maybe even try something like the AMT Tube Cake which is what I will hopefully be getting. Having said all of that at least Imported Instruments have a Gigmaster. Not sure where you would hear any of the others. The 30 doesn't have the power soak though so not sure I'd buy that for a bedroom head. As for something I want. Yes, one of these was built for the Russian Circles guitarist. Hence the name. Sounds epic.
  24. Went to Sleazy's on Wednesday. I got the Lucretia, the burger with pulled pork, chorizo, burnt pineapple, tomato chilli jam and hot sauce. Amazing. Burger wasn't greasy despite all that meat. The chips were a bit greasy but tasted good so can forgive that for a one off pig out treat. My gf got some chicken breast burger. Can't remember exactly what was in it but chicken breast marinated in lemon and thyme, bacon, cheese, red onion marmalade, lettuce. tomato. Both tasted amazing and you had to eat half the filling before the burger would fit into your mouth.
  25. There is a demo of it on xbox live so probably one on PSN too. I think it's fair to say Resi 6 got reasonably poor reviews for a game of it's magnitude to definitely try before you buy.
