Cinnamon Grahams are the best cereal ever. They should be known only by that name. It's a shame they now sound like a dodgy romance novel for post-menopausal women. (Curiously Cinnamon) Krave are also ace for sugary, chocolatey goodness. As for chocolate bars available in Poland, they have a mint chip cadbury dairy milk which is amazing. Not available in the UK Will need to get one when I head back there in a couple of months. The other confusing thing is Magners/Bulmers. Long neck bulmers is the standard drink in Poland but over here Magners is the equivalent and Bulmers tastes nothing like it does over there.

Are you secretly called Nolly? That's basically his exact setup. Add a shiny scratchplate and it would fit right in with his other combustions I played a Music Man Stingray 5 string the other day. Really like it. Scale was a bit too long for my tiny hands though

Got a new guitar yesterday. Red flame maple topped Ibanez RG7321. Now just need to get some better tuners and pickups. Would normally try to stick to Prestiges like my other two but sadly the only fixed bridge prestige 7's are black and I'd want something a bit more interesting. Plus the old 7421/7621's are somewhat hard to come by in good condition these days so attract a bit of a premium for selling on. Sevens Ibanez collection. Haters gonna hate.

I made a speculative bid on a guitar on ebay and ended up winning it. Can barely afford to pay for it. Still it was a decent price and I'm told it's basically mint. I'm picking it up on Saturday from Inverness. Will put up proper pics when I have time, but it's one of these.

Up for trades/sale. I don't like trem equipped guitars and this is the last one for the chopping block. Has piezo for acoustic like sounds, 2 output jacks. It's in pretty good condition (other than pickup pole pieces which are a bit rusty) with only a few small chips. Colbs advice is good but failing that regarding cables and noise gates, neither are cheap options and it may take a bit of experimenting to find the cause. I will say that I don't like OD gain very much and that could be a cause if you have the gain maxed as they tend to be fizzy and create unwanted sounds when the dial goes to a certain level. Any hum from that and your pedals will just be amplified by your amp. Hence why you want the quietest tone possible going into the amp. I'd suggest if you can having a channel for higher gain stuff and relying less in pedals to get higher gain. That should be quieter than using the OD pedal as you are currently. Do you have a particular sound in mind? I'm a massive fan of AMT pedals/preamps and they may do something that could be better for your needs. They are not cheap pedals but they sound great.

Overdrives make a lot of noise. Especially if you are using it as a boost (I set mine gain 0,tone 4,,volume 10). Likewise a compressor will be noisy and having cheap cables also adds to noise. Ditto power supplies. Ideally you want good quality patch leads and follow all the advice about power supplies and reducing hum. I use a very small pedal board and i still find the noise from an OD to be annoying so I use an ISP decimator before my amp. Best noise gate available IMO. Sucks the least tone and gets rid of hum nicely.

I'm totally broke and going to a gig in Glasgow on Friday so had to miss. Not been a massive fan of material he has released since I last saw him though so not worst thing ever I guess. Unless he plays a lot from Accelerated Evolution. Hopefully it will be very Epicloud centred!

Metal guitars don't really sell well on this site. They are both insane prices and I'd absolutely bite your hand off for the Jim Root guitar if I had the cash, but I don't I'd probably get rid of the EMG's though! I'd maybe consider a swap for my Ibanez RG1620X but seems like you are more after cash! Stick the ESP on ebay. You should get way more than that for it on ebay. Or even other metal guitar orientated sites (ie ss.org, metalguitarist etc). They usually have posting rules though so if you aren't already an active user that is an issue....
