I don't think it's the case that there havn't been any good guitarists since the 80s. People are just more inventive and can use their talents in ways other than a solo or some "hot licks".

The Presets - Once again ace Aphex Twin - again at the end, and this time I loved it, best way to end the weekend

De La Soul - Eye Know

I've never really liked her at all. Might be due to me thinking she was a female Jamie Cullum with her first album, and a female Pete Doherty more recently, so she never stood much of a chance. I can see why people say she is talented and has a great voice, but in the same way people think Steve Vai is great guitarist. I can't deny that, but I just don't enjoy the music either of them make at all. Are you actually being serious?o_O
