I used to have a fear of getting "eaten" by escalators if I didn't step off them quick enough when I was young. But I also find out last week that walking down a escalator that's stopped moving, feels horrible and wrong.

Aaaah. I've had a cover of Twist and Shout that said it was by Nirvana, Sonic Youth and REM on my computer for ages, but never known where it came from, or why it didn't have any of those band's singers on it. Now it all makes sense.

Righteous Kill. I saw it on Wednesday, and wouldn't recommend it at all. Big let down. For example, 50 Cent's acting wasn't even the worst thing about it.

Very true. Their earlier demos are their best recordings, purely because they sound more like the live versions than the album versions.

Just finished The Watchmen. I didn't think I'd really like graphic novels, but I was properly engrossed. Definitely one of the best reads I've had in quite some time.

Yeah the only oppurtunity I get to see their show properly is when it's on in the early hours of the morning on one of the crappy Freeview music channels
