Strings Direct are amazing. I've ordered leads and strings at about 4pm one day and they've arrived the next morning. They're also super helpful if you need advice about a product. Oh, and they're really really cheap.

Nah, I've had to reset it a couple times and it's made no difference. I've read a few other people suffering similar problems with the 160gb model though. It doesn't bother me because as I say it occurs maybe once or twice during an album- it's a mild nuisance at most.

My 160gb Classic has survived numerous scrapes and knocks in the 2 years I've had it. Been used around 5-6 hours every single day and the battery life is still brilliant (I was shocked when the quoted 40 hour battery life actually lasted that long). Only problem I've had is that it tends to stop playing for 2-3 seconds every 30 mins or so but I figure that's just the trade off for being so fucking careless with it. Best MP3 player I've had.

I've got a T-Mobile contract which I got an absolutely mental deal on with a flash phone, but I'm keeping an eye on eBay for unlocked 3g iPhones. Seen a few perfect condition ones go for around 250 buy it now- just need to get in there quickly!

It may be worth keeping in mind that whilst the iPhone is exclusive to o2 at the moment it's apparently going to be available on Orange and T-Mobile. This would no doubt drive down the price of them.

Exactly. SDs are made in USA whilst DDs are from Korea I think. I've been thinking about buying a Squier Tele Custom with 2 Duncan Designed P90s but need to try one out first to see how it fares.

I'm pretty sure you're meant to loosen the strings before shipping (possibly to relieve tension) rather than remove them. I've shipped several guitars in the past and I've done that to all of them- been no problems thus far.
