  1. Planning to drive (sorry, should have clarified that). Kirkhill Industrial Estate.
  2. How long does it take to get to Dyce from Bridge of Don weekday mornings? I'm heading out there for a job interview next week and I've got no idea what to expect traffic wise. Need to arrive by 8.30am.
  3. This should do the trick: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7811UN-Wireless-802-11b-150Mbps/dp/B003MTTJOY/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1363537139&sr=1-2
  4. I just got an overdrive pedal from him, which I'm hoping to try out properly this week. Placed an order for a Fuzz Factory clone too.
  5. This just got announced today. Pretty stripped back in terms of features but I'm into the simplicity of it.
  6. It's a predictable suggestion, but the Squier Vintage Modified Jazz basses would be a good shout if you're buying new.
  7. Bump. Definitely selling the cab now, as well as the head. PM me if you're interested!
  8. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/articles/2012/10/cars/dacia/sandero/dacia-sandero-is-cheapest-new-car I'm definitely intrigued by this.
  9. Thanks for the advice so far. I'm going to go have a look at the VW Up, although as a 6 foot male I'm a tad concerned I'll end up like this: Do finance plans on used cars tend to be pretty rubbish, or are there deals to be had? I'd ideally like something a little bigger like a Polo or Fiesta, but I realise that I'm not in a position to be fussy with the paltry sum of money I have available.
  10. Any reason to avoid Arnold Clark? I went to the Kia/Fiat Arnold Clark dealership off Lang Stracht and the salesman seemed pretty knowledgeable and laidback, which was refreshing after an underwhelming visit to Peter Vardy.
  11. Despite Cool Thinker's helpful public transport updates on here I think I'm ready to buy a car. Does anyone have any advice that they're willing to share? I went to a few dealerships yesterday to look about, but I'm admittedly pretty clueless about these things. I'd be looking to finance it over a period of 2-5 years and I'm currently leaning more towards a new model, as after getting a few quotes yesterday the APR rates for the used cars seemed to bring the price up to about the same as a new model with 0-4% APR. I'd like to avoid unexpected repair bills so the warranties available on the new ones also appealed to me. Is buying a new car ridiculous?! I really don't have much disposable income to play about with, so I'm needing something cheap to run and insure. I was quoted around £140 a month for a couple little city cars yesterday, which seemed reasonable, but again I'm completely out my depth here. Any help appreciated!
  12. Also, someone buy this head please! £450 would do. I've also got a 2x12 Orange cab with a Celestion Alnico Gold fitted (as well as the stock Celestion V30) that I might consider selling if anyone is interested.
