  1. How long does it take to get to Dyce from Bridge of Don weekday mornings? I'm heading out there for a job interview next week and I've got no idea what to expect traffic wise. Need to arrive by 8.30am.
  2. This should do the trick: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edimax-EW-7811UN-Wireless-802-11b-150Mbps/dp/B003MTTJOY/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1363537139&sr=1-2
  3. I just got an overdrive pedal from him, which I'm hoping to try out properly this week. Placed an order for a Fuzz Factory clone too.
  4. This just got announced today. Pretty stripped back in terms of features but I'm into the simplicity of it.
  5. It's a predictable suggestion, but the Squier Vintage Modified Jazz basses would be a good shout if you're buying new.
  6. Also, why not just look for a used Standard and get her to buy you that instead?
  7. If she loved you she'd get you the better one.
  8. http://www.thomann.de/gb/gibson_songwriter_deluxe_12.htm A cool £15 saving to be made in this thread...
  9. I have the larger 3500 that I've never used that I might sell soon. If you don't end up getting this one then I'll let you know when I'm shifting mine. £300 for this rig is so good. Genuinely shocked no one is snapping it up!
  10. I think so! So essentially I'll probably get taxed because I'm earning quite a bit in a short period of time, but I'm likely to receive this back come September when I go back to earning barely anything...right?
  11. Further reading indicates this could very well be the case! I'd got it into my head for some reason that there's a second job tax, but hopefully that's completely wrong.
  12. Someone help plz. I'm a student with a part time job but I just got a full time internship for the next 12 weeks. If I decide to ruin my summer and work 7 days a week in both jobs (urgh) do I automatically get taxed on the full time one as it's technically my 2nd job? Or do you get taxed on the job you earn less in? If anyone knows and can save me a tedious phone call to HMRC tomorrow I'll be thrilled.
