  1. Its about 25-30 a head if you're gonna make it worth going
  2. Think there's a new midi Gibson les paul coming out, it'll be very expensive I'm sure
  3. yeah yeah yeahs - show your bones. sounding really good so far bob dylan - highway 61 revisited
  4. That is a brilliant album, they are highly underrated. Peloton is really good as well although it was the great eastern that got me into them so its probably my favourite between those two.
  5. Radiohead - The Bends Patrick Wolf - Lycanthropy Belle & Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister Four Tet - Pause Asian Dub Foundation - Rafi's Revenge
  6. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/203-5116989-9463960 - released Monday 27th. Play will have them to be dispatched on monday
  7. I've had this one loads of times, looks very realistic and I could see how some folk may be fooled. Been getting a load saying they're from barclays bank and HSBS recently as well
  8. doesn't come out til monday but I'll be getting it then
  9. Got mine for meadowbank - £10 booking fees for 2 tickets though?!
  10. Are astrid still around? I've got strange weather lately, was not bad. Modes of transport was a brilliant EP though. Postal Service - Give Up (dunno if this counts but its a brilliant album and I've never heard of any plan to do another one)
  11. I thought the first series of this was brilliant but when maid marian chopped her hair off it just wasn't the same!
  12. I'm 99% sure it was the split EP that came first
  13. 8 out of 17, nae good. For the airplane one I'd definitely get the inflatable boat, there could be sharks in the water and they would kill me going by my answers there!
  14. Mythbusters on Discovery is really good
  15. I thought they'd split up a few years ago, are they back together?
  16. Milkow's Calf Blues - Robert Johnson Gong - Sigur Ros Root Down - Beastie Boys Velouria - Pixies Do You See My Love - Dirtbombs (Last 5 I've listened to)
  17. I heard about that, wasn't sure if it had reopened or not. Its a shame cos it was one of the better places to eat in aberdeen
  18. The food is crap in la tasca, I've been twice and almost puked cos its mingin. Its all prepackaged frozen stuff that just gets heated up. There's a place called the moonfish cafe thats meant to be amazing for tapas down behind Gap I think. La Bonne Baguette down there used to be excellent as well, not been for a few years though.
  19. I think Brazil's most popular beer is bravura
  20. Best has to be the Witnness festival in Dublin in 2000 I think it was. Saw the white stripes in one of the new band tents, the place was half empty and they were brilliant - about a month or 2 later nme put them on the cover for the first time and everything kicked off! Worst has to be the same festival when I lost my mate's custom made oakley's whilst watching paul weller - turned into a bit of an expensive weekend!
  21. Single - Freak Power: Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out Album - Finley Quaye: Maverick A Strike (I think) Compilation - In The Mix 96
  22. Got Mr Beast on Monday - excellent! Glasgow Mega-Snake rocks but could've done with being twice as long. Thats the only thing I'd criticise about the album, some of the tracks are too short, think the longest one is only 5 and a half minutes long. Its got touches of all their previous albums in it so would be a good choice for someone wanting to get into Mogwai.
  23. Yeah, I think Sea Change and Mutations are both highly underrated - love both those albums
