  1. Bought it. Going to see them in Edinburgh. So their!
  2. Gutted. One of my favourite bands. Lemon Tree gig was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Thanks for Love. More importantly, thanks for Arthur Lee.
  3. I've got a ticket to see them in Edinburgh in September I think, nae sure how much they are, quite cheap I think!
  4. Saw them in the T-Break tent at the weekend after having heard one of their tunes prior to the festival. There's definitely something big happening there. The place was jam packed, and just about everyone in the audience knew all the words to all the songs. It was a proper gig too, the place was absolutely mental. There was a definite Libertines sort've vibe, and I'd imagine that their early gigs would've resembled something like this. Definitely my highlight of T In The Park. Half an hour of absolute chaos. The whole place emptied immediately. Bizarre but blinding. Watch this space.
  5. Take It From The Man! - The Brian Jonestown Massacre Sonic Flower Groove - Primal Scream
  6. 1. Mary Please - The Brian Jonestown Massacre 2. Slowdive - Slowdive 3. Eight Miles High - The Byrds 4. I Am Damo Suzuki - The Fall 5. Killing Moon - Echo and The Bunnymen
  7. I thought it was a top gig, well worth going to. I thought the Moshulu gig was better but Monday night was still ace.
  8. Have to say that My Latest Novel is the worst band name I've ever heard.
  9. These posts are hilarious! "I've got tickets and I know fine well that none of you will, so na na nee na naa" !!!
  10. 1. Prozac vs Heroin - Brian Jonestown Massacre 2. Your Friend And Mine (Neil's Song) - Love 3. I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better - The Byrds 4. Bring A Friend - Happy Mondays 5. Miserable Lie - The Smiths
  11. That Moshulu gig was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, and I'm not even a massive fan.
  12. Dee yer revision in plenty time then! I went to The Charlatans gig at the Music Hall the night before an Honours Law exam, didn't affect my grade one bit! That's not to say that it was good! * * it was!!!
  13. I'm hooked folks! My tune of the moment is 'Just For Today'!!! Hits the spot! My cup of tea completely! What a groove! Blare it!
  14. 1. Slowdive - Slowdive 2. The Headmaster Ritual - The Smiths 3. Monkey Man - The Rolling Stones 4. Can't Even Be Bothered - The Charlatans 5. Is Forever Long Enough - Driveblind
  15. Know what you mean about the noise! Flamin 'eck!!! Haha!! I had only heard one of their songs before, was a bit of a gamble, but turned out to be a decent night!
  16. It was a decent gig. Miles better in Perth in '04 though.
  17. The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Tepid Peppermint Wonderland The Smiths Funkadelic - Ultimate Funkadelic Ride - Black Nite Crash EP
  18. Thanks, but I actually went in and bought it today before reading that!!! Haha! Have listened to a couple of tracks and I'm impressed, I kinda thought I would be though! A couple sound quite trippy, like Screamadelica era Primal Scream, and I can see the Carnival Of Light comparisons too!
  19. I had a wee rake at lunchtime. There's a couple in Fopp and a couple in One Up. There's a complilation for 15 quid. Looks quite new. Might give that a bash!
  20. I haven't heard any tunes from this band, but I'm intrigued. Anyone care to enlighten me? Any good? Did someone out of BRMC used to be in the band? I love BRMC by ra way. Ta.
