Desire Street Legal Slow Train Coming Bootleg Series 1-3 Time out of Mind Bootleg Series 6 (?) - Live in 1966 Biograph has some interesting things on it but I find it's a bit hard going in places. and that Essential... compilation thing with Blind Willie McTell & Things have Changed I saw cheap somewhere and is worth it for those two tracks... Infidels and Oh Mercy leave me cold. And as for Live at Budokan, well just say I'm sorry I mentioned it.

I think you must be talking about 'The Brave and the Bold'. Yeah, it was disappointing. 3 brilliant (Daniel, Calvary Cross, er, that I'm just a girl in trouble one) a couple of alright ones (i.e. the minutemen one) and some real crap (aye that 'fusion' one). I found the year of the leopard quite a disappointment as well (James Yorkston)

I got the split Akron/family Angels of Light album after the excellent track on Rogues Gallery. I like it but would have preferred a pure A/F album. Is Meek Warrior any good? Other recent buys have been: Lantern - Clogs (probably what I've been listening to most recently) Rogues Gallery (the sea chantey thing...) A couple of Iron & Wine cheapies from Fopp I bought the new Dylan and Bert Jansch albums but took them both back as, saddly ,they ain't my cup of tea. Planning on trying the new Old Crow Medicine Show and Joanna Newsom albums...

Might be if you could tell us a bit more about it...

Picked up the new James Yorkston (with acoustic versions cd) Oh and got 'Ocky Milk' by Momus. Thinking about the new Dylan one too...

He may well be but he doesn't appear to want the work. I dropped off a guitar for a simple set up and had to pick it up unlooked at 3-4 weeks later despite a coulpe of texts saying it was going to look at it the next day, blah, blah. Tom didn't seem particularly impressed either, turns out I'm not the first... Pity, as I hear his work is good.

I'd say it was good (at least a 4 star rather than the measley 3 offered). But then I'd hardly call myself impartial... Play a couple fo the videos on youtube to see if you like but chances are if you liked Cursed Sleep then you'll like the rest of it. 'Then the Leeting Go' is probably my favourite track on it... The double cd is good should you manage to wangle it!

You either need to be quick off the mark (and pre-order) or have the right contacts! Not time to listen to it properly (the Bonny Billy disc that is) as the missus was late home. Quick spin through says its pretty good. One for the anti-GPM brigade I'd say. Does nowhere have the 2 cd pack left? Iknow 1 Up only got 5 copies and most of them (if not all) were spoken for. Hope to pisk up the last Clogs cd (if the missus remembers)

Don't know to be honest. I bought and sold mine in Embra. My mate Ewan had one as well. Sold it with a shit load of other stuff (including the Touch & Go 'Headache' package, the black thick plastic sealed job. Only ever seen one of them). I got a fair price for everything at the time I thought.

Jeez that takes me back! Pity I sold it about 5 years ago...
