  1. Sometimes, ich liebe dich a bit.
  2. Omg, ders moar. Fella treats me just like any pet | Tasha Maltby | Dani Graves | The Sun |HomePage|News Poor kids... they just want to get on with their lives in peace. Ps. Check out the slideshow!
  3. I got a 120gb one for around 50 (or maybe it was 40..) on ebay - it's just a Vaio rip-off but it hasn't caused me any problems so far. Still, if you want definite reliability, maybe you should get a brand name one. dabs.com - PC Hardware, Components, Software, Digital Cameras, MP3 Players - this place can be good. Umm... and yeah, get one with high rpm (though I think everything over 5400 is fine, and most of them are).
  4. Most of the stuff I've had to read for uni has had at least some small reason that I am glad to have read it, plus I've found loads of authors I never would have thought to read otherwise (like Rabelais, who I thought was some rubbish physicist, but he's actually really funny). So I guess it's increased my enthusiasm for reading in principle, but in practice it hasn't because I never have any time or motivation to read anything besides my set texts (like Rabelais.. the thing is, I heard in a lecture that he's really funny. But I haven't actually read any yet. It's more of a concept). I prefer reading to films usually though because books leave more to the imagination.
  5. Dreamcast. Controversial, I know, but hey, I'm no gamer so I decide purely on the happy feelings each console gives me. The controllers are the perfect size for my hands (original Xbox controllers were a bit of a problem), it looks beautiful (mixture between innocent playfulness in its size, colour and swirl; and futurism with the USS Enterprise-like design), and it played host to three of my top games ever: Crazy Taxi (BD JOE! We're gon' have some fun!), Soul Calibur and Sonic Adventure. SNES is so close behind it's almost joint first, though.
  6. Beautiful I think today is going to be a day for music that sticks a stupid irremovable grin on my face.
  7. Yeah.. I don't like Oxford too much as a town and there are quite a lot of idiots around, but every uni is like that I guess, and it is a nice place to study. Plus I love having uni and home lives completely separate Haha, I read that as Mechanics of Souls Thought it was a philosophy module or something...
  8. Oxford.. Which I guess means I asked for it _
  9. I don't have exams, just loads of homework (four essays in six days, ffs), and since I tend to waste the evenings online, I've been up til four or so every night since Friday. aggghhh. However, no exams til 2010 which maybe makes up for it.
  10. Yeah, congratulations Alan Also, the box made me really disproportionately happy, so thanks for that too!
  11. That party must have been fast-moving, to get that out of hand in the time taken for a dinner date!
  12. I went to Pavel Nedved's mum and dad's (ie. his old) house... they were probably in but I just stood outside taking a photo and talking to (what was probably) their cat...
  13. I love how you say you don't like a track, and without a word, it shuffles off to allow the next contender to take the stage. I feel like a Roman emperor. Take that, Bob Dylan! Ah, Procol Harum. Yes, you may stay. Nice shirt, by the way, Gary Brooker. Yes, I'd like to see you here again. You're very much to my taste.
  14. That's why I'm so good at sports. Haw haw.
  15. Ahh I still haven't seen it! I'll ask for it for my birthday. My favourite film this year was Death Proof for sure, and I liked the Counterfeiters and Zodiac too.

    Your current read?

I liked that one. I just reread High Fidelity. I like Nick Hornby a lot, but I read A Long Way Down and thought it was gash so I just thought I'd reinstate my faith in him (though I didn't like High Fidelity as much as before, hm).
  17. Yeah the Nuggets comps are awesome! And Rubble ones as well, I like them even more, though they're more British-psych based. There are a couple of good radio stations too (eg. Chocolate Soup FM) that you can get on live365.com, and Marmalade Skies has some good infos and sometimes downloads...
  18. What do you call cheese that isn't yours? THAT'S NACHO CHEESE.
  19. Band: Bedingham Green Album: King's Sedgemoor Drain Tracks: 1. Amphoe Tron 2. Wiener 3. Battle of Bint Jbeil 4. Blue Bells Model School 5. Genome-wide Association Study 6. Life In a Day 7. Shivaji's Forts 8. Line of Successsion to the Iranian Throne I think we were formed at an English public school and planned to release a quintessential English album until the vocalist grew an obsession with Eastern history and politics... and wieners.
