  1. You tantaliser, Chilli!!!!!!!!!
  2. I'll be able to stay later and drink more.....yay!!!!
  3. Another wonderful Interesting Music Night...........especially Major Matt Mason!!!!!! A little bit of NYC cool hit Aberdeen for the night, and it was superb.
  4. I am getting increasingly excited about the Fudge 5th birthday party gigs, even though I've not read Fudge yet (but will very soon!), and have never yet been in Moshulu. (Will I get slashed/stabbed by a drug crazed youngster?).
  5. That's damned disappointing, Shawn!! Nero & Premo will still be a good night out though. Any ideas about the replacement band?
  6. Maybe your hair looks like a nest? Mine does!
  7. It was being a bit "overly familiar".
  8. I agree....Kintore is a nightmarish place!
  9. If 1 Kitchen Cynics turns up, can he get in for the price of half a Kitchen Cynic? (This is just a joke, Chilli.....I will be there....at the sound check with a dulcimer and a tin whistle)
  10. You know I've heard about him since c71, but I've never actually heard him yet! Must try the link when I'm not so rushed.
  11. Understandable, Flossie! They were a scary bunch (and I might well have been one of the clientele!).
  12. I know there are a few old posters out there who remember One-Up as part of "Happy Trails", then up Rosemount (and on George St), before the Diamond Street place. Good ol' Raymond and Fred!
  13. the Cuts (or have they already come?) Spike Pile Driver !!!!!
  14. Just checking that I've got this correct..... Charlemagne (ex Noah John, who were brilliant at the Lemon Tree) Denison Witmer (from the epicentre of new weird America) Gemma Ray the mysterious, but spellbinding Mickle Mass All for 5..........tomorrow!????????? at Drakes.
  15. Funnily enough I purchased a new pair of "Trainer Tamers" for last Friday's gig, as I hung my sock up on the mike cable using a wooden clothes peg. But they were highly ineffectual! However my trainers date to October 2002, and have absorbed a fair old amount of Cynical sweat since then. In a show of solidarity the other Kitchen Cynics Orchestra members ditched their footwear too. I was touched (and gassed, too).
  16. Maybe we could do a VL-tone / PT-20 foot duet sometime? I wonder if Lester can work the stylophone with her shapely, yet worryingly pungent, tootsies? A foot/keyboard trio would be a good laugh. Or a quartet, with Mouse! You are correct....it was the Japanese Ghost's new one "Hypnotic Underworld"....pretty cool. I like the other Ghost, too.
  17. Thank you, Ghost. I've always wanted to be someone's excuse
  18. I wanted to go, but I was knackered after last week. I'll be recharged by Wed though!
  19. Snap! I'm a veteran 4-tracker myself.
  20. Not originally...it was just laziness, but now I have come to like it, in a twisted way. My favourite guitarists are all piss-poor, and I love them for it. Although I also like Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page & Bert Jansch
