  1. There is just no Trouble now the Weebl bouncer has sorted everything out, Or maybe they where all underage???
  2. Get yourself down to The Moorings on a Sunday evening from 8pm, we have an open stage night which would be good for you to meet some local musicians and have a jam with the house band or other people. all bands welcome.
  3. That would make things very interesting to mix ,
  4. do you have a budget? what are you trying to get done?
  5. you could but there isnt much you can do, Remember the FOH Is Sound Reinforcement, so it might not be a good recording mix! studio mixes are totally different because you dont take in to account the sound on stage,
  6. It really isnt that simple to get a multi track recording form most venues, they just arent set-up for it, if you want to use direct outs etc, you could need converter cables like D-sub to XLR or balanced jack to whatever. If it was easy I would have my own system, but to do it right would take a lot of cash and equipment.
  7. Not quite, You will need an active splitter that way there is no signal degradation, these are not cheap but are the best way to go for live recording. There are lots of ways you can record live, but at the end of the day it is down to what the band want to achieve. A stereo pair at the front would be ok to see how they played but not much use for a cd etc.
  8. I can do mastering, What are you looking for?
  9. Yup I am A geek, I can name all of that stuff (nearly)
  10. Ok I may as well add the Byre in to this, you can have the Studio and Me for 300 a day, and it works out around 25 per hour. You get the full use of the studio and all of the equipment and I would engineer. If your band is well rehearsed we could get 2/3 tracks done. Doing less would give a better result and more time to play with them. Have a look at the site www.the-byre.com
  11. Yes it is still on it is from 8pm until 12, so turn up when you want and we will get you up.
  12. note the ns10 driver on the front, used as a mic you get fantastic bass from it Dom did enjoy that bit
  13. Butterflies and hurricanes we had 2 X 64 trk Soundscape systems running, all the band plus full string sect then all of the vocal layers. Just as well you can mix down internally when the desk only has 88 total in`s that was quite epic.
  14. Does the CD6000 KI have a headphone output? the 6000se does. If that is ok then it will be an amp problem.
  15. The Bands will play anywhere that pays them,

I could maybe remaster the quiet albums??
  17. I agree with the lexicon (480 or 960) but they dont have the same odd fx there are so many wierd patches on the eventide's most you would never use. But they are great fun
  18. Ok It sounds like a multi tap delay feeding back into a reverb feeding back in to the delay there is a Preset on Eventide Dsp's (something like ghost echos) it is in its own channel not in with the main vocal.
  19. Yes, Backline is there, Marshall JCM200 100W + 4x12, ENGL Powerball 100W +4x12, Ampeg SVT2 Pro 300W +4x10, And Full Drum kit. See you on friday
