  1. Vantage Point play The Moorings bar alongside SAZ this Saturday night. So anyone wanting a night of traditional Heavy Metal then come along for some screaming vocals and shredding guitar solo's! What others have said about Vantage Point: Vantage Point play no frills, straight down the line, old school heavy metal, complete with falsetto wailing, thumping basslines and riffs as heavy as concrete boots. Bassist and singer Murray has that classic Biff Byford combination of thunking bass and triumphant metal arm gestures down to a T, whilst the guitarists content themselves with striking axeman poses in the background. In fact never before have I seen quite so much heavy metal posturing squeezed into such a tiny space. www.elainemacintyre.net "From the chunky riffing of Motor Man, which actually features the words pedal to the metal through the mid-tempo, melodic, Save Me onto the full blown Priest like histrionics of High Plains Drifter, I enjoyed every moment."www.metaluk.co.uk
  2. Bit late notice, but just to say that Edinburgh Metal band will be back at the Moorings this weekend. They will be playing their usual traditional metal, influenced by Maiden and Priest. Expect screaming vocals and shredding guitar solo's and a lot shapes being thrown!!!
  3. Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone that came along. We had a great time and hope you did also, hopefully it will not be long until we are up rocking the Moorings again. Cheers.
  4. Cheers for that, hope you can get down to the Moorings in order to hear it played live.
  5. We are looking forward to it as well. I take it is the same as last time in that the back line is provided?
  6. Edinburgh's Vantage Point return to the Moorings at the end of the month for another set of their Maiden / Priest influenced Metal. So to hear some screaming guitar solo's and plenty whailing vocals get along to the Moorings on Friday the 25th of November. Visit www.vantage-point.info for more details or our myspace site to hear our latest recordings. 7. Well I am pleased to say that we will be playing at the Moorings again on the 26th of November - am looking forward to it. Cheers, James.
  8. Depends as we finished with two songs played together, which was our own song, Save Me and the only cover we do, Priest's Hell Bent For Leather. But I suspect you mean the song before that, as you asked us whether it was our own song after we played it, that was, Just When I Wasn't Lookin. Let us know how well the recording of it turned out. Cheers.
