Murrr
I don't know if anyone has been following the Serie A transfers but AC Milan look shiiiiiit. Nesta, Silva, Zlatan, Gattuso, Inzaghi, Seedorf, Van Bommel, Zambrotta and Aquilani are all gone. This will probably be their first XI: Abbiati; Abate, Zapata, Mexes, Mesbah; Nocerino, Ambrosini, Montolivo; Boateng; Cassano, Pato. JESUS. That defence is minging enough, but if one of them gets crocked it'll mean games for such excellent players as Mario Yepes and Daniele Bonera...Fiorentina, on the other hand, have done excellent business. Aquilani, Borja Valero, David Pizzaro (who I have a massive footballing man-crush), Juan Cuadrado, Mattia Cassani, Matias Fernandez, Gonzalo Rodriguez and Emiliano Viviano all in. They've lost Montolivo (who is pretty average anyway), Behrami and Gamberini, but that's pretty much it. Really, really good team.Juventus, of course, have added some excellent players in Lucio, Asamoah, Isla, Giovinco (full-time) and Caceres (full-time) and will probably get a new LB and striker before the season starts. Inter have bought Guarian, Silvestre, Palacio and Handanovic to give them a pretty exciting side on-paper. Roma have signed about 400 players and now have the man from my avatar back in the dugout. Napoli lost Lavezzi but added quality in key areas. Some excellent players have left Italy this summer but I'm really looking forward to the season.

The Milner
United should take him back
Soda Jerk
United should take him behind an abandoned warehouse and punch him to pieces.
The Milner
Would you not be happy having him and O'Shea back to add some experience to the squad?

Adam Easy Wishes
Could even Mackie miss the target with Valencia's crosses pinging in all day long?NO. He would score 20+ goals if he played in the current United team.
Chris
I can't wait for the County game on Saturday. Full of my usual blind optimism for the season ahead.

Adam Easy Wishes
Saw that. What does 'banned' actually mean? Banned from being in charge of an Italian club? Or just banned from being involved in football? Will Juve keep him on and let his assistant take charge until the ten months are up?

Captain America
Yeah it's Johnson. Shame there's no gifs of him being shit at defending at the other end.

I would imagnie Juve will keep him on, the charges relate to something that happened years ago, nothing questioned about his time with Juve. Soda Jerk
What's he even doing there? He's running into 'the hole'. He's a bleeding defender. Either overlap the winger, or defend. Don't SCORE GOALS!
The Milner
The only thing Glen Johnson is capable of, is being out of position, oh and shin rolling them in from 25 yards.
Soda Jerk
Shinners require more skill than with the laces. A shinner should be floating out of Anfield, He kept it down. Excellent shin technique. You can't teach that. You acquire it by being shit at defending.
The Milner
You acquire it by being shitYou really only needed that part of the last sentance when talking about Johnson.
Soda Jerk
Haha.I like Glen Johnson, but not as a defender, though he did strangely well at the Euros. He's a great attacker. Better than any of Liverpools current wingers. Bump him up the pitch and give Martin Kelly a game. That guy is solid.
Adam Easy Wishes
Johnson would be ace in a back five as the right wing-back. Not enough teams play three centre-backs nowadays. Excellent formation.GKCB - SW - CBRWB----------------LWBMC - MCAMCFW ----- FW = DOMINATION Clearly when in posession, the sweeper steps into the 'holding' role in front of the centre backs. Deep lying playmaker if you will. FOOTBALL IS BACK
The Milner
Eh, thats not a real formation, no out and out wing role for Valencia. Fail.
