Guest Gladstone
That is a lovely finish from Wellbeck. Well played son.New Deer FC update:Crighton's comeback game saw him on the bench for a semi-final versus local rivals New Pitsligo. A pretty shit first half finished 0-0, but New Pitsligo grabbed a goal in the first 10 minutes of the second half and the manager made a double substitute, taking off the ineffective wide midfielders, with Crighton coming on at right midfield. Within minutes, it was all going to plan as Crighton won a free-kick on the edge of the box, which resulted in an inch perfect delivery by M. Raper (that is actually his name) onto the head of Duncan who powered it into the top corner. Crighton was definitely off the pace after a two year break and didn't see much of the ball, but defended well when called upon. With 10 minutes to go, M. Raper showed why he has the armband and spotted the keeper off his line and lobbed him from a full 50 yards - just under the bar for one of the best goals in New Deer's history. Backs to the wall stuff followed as New Pitsligo threw everything at New Deer and a cruel blow was delivered as a deflected shot found the top corner with the last kick of the 90 minutes. Extra time was very cagey until about 10 minutes away from penalties, New Pitsligo scored a weak free-kick to make it 3-2. Crighton made a tired, late, wreckless challenge on New Pitsligo's striker to give away a free-kick out wide. A 6 yard box scramble led to New Pitsligo's 4th goal and moments later, Christie burst through for New Pitsligo and ended any hopes of a New Deer comeback with an emphatic finish. New Deer were moments from the final but ultimately New Pitsligo showed better fitness and better desire to blow New Deer away in the last 10 minutes of extra time.Disappointing comeback match for Crighton who felt he was well off the pace and will need a few games under his belt to get back his match fitness. The new boots will have to wait until at least Tuesday before they score any goals... Guest Gladstone
What does the "M" stand for? Monkey? Mother?Mark.I know that isn't funny, but that's just his name. I used M. Raper because his brother L. Raper also plays. His parents were having a laugh when they named him Llama.

Murrr
That's Ralf Rangnick confirmed as manager of WBA. That's a really good appointment, and a much more ambitious one than Liverpool appointing Rodgers I reckon. Can't wait to see how he does. He did good to get Schalke to the Champions League semis. His double promotion with Hoffenheim was extraordinary too. If they hadn't have been destroyed with injuries in that promotion season, they could have put in a decent title tilt. I believe they were top of the league at Christmas, with something ridiculous like 40 goals in 17 games. Finished 9th in the end since the whole team seemed to fall apart with injuries. Still, not bad at all from a newly promoted side. Good manager. Surprised Liverpool didn't go in for him at all actually.Very interesting appointment. I'm surprised that more English clubs don't look to foreign managers instead of hiring the likes of Steve Bruce, Gary Megson, etc. There's a lot of quality abroad. This, along with Wolves hiring Stale Solbakken, is pretty ace.

Guest
It's like he's still trying to get Liverpool fans to like him, it's fucking pathetic, like an ex-gf who still calls you all the time and tries to be your mate, like nothing ever happened between you.Either that or he hates black people. Racist cunt.
FOX
Has Woy never heard of Rio Ferdinand?? Surely to fuck he's a better defender than Martin "who the fuck" Kelly?
Scootray
But you can't have Terry and Ferdinand on the same team...Highlights the real reason Rio wasn't included in the first place.

ca_gere
I fancy England as dark horses now. The much maligned old guard being replaced by a zero fucks given team of young pretenders. Just need Gerard to croak it before June 8th and they're in with a shot.
Murrr
Netherlands winners, Italy dark horses (seriously, Prandelli is king), Portugal to get shafted in the first round. RVP top scorer.

Still, no matter! Up the Danes! Aarhus young team.
