FOX
Pretty sure ASDA pays all their staff the same wage regardless of age. Potentially so do Tesco and Sainsbury's, but I'm not sure.I could understand 16-18 year olds getting less pay than 18+ because they're probably living at home etc. 18-21 year olds often have to pay rent and stuff so it would make more sense for them to get a similar medium wage to 21+. Just seems like that step doesn't really need to exist.I wouldn't say it's unfair, just think it maybe needs changed.

I could easily have been doing with getting paid the same as a 21 year old.

MattJimF
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lincolnshire-20204294"We were woken at about 03:00 and it was very alarming as you think 'is it a flood alert'?"Then it went on and on. At 07:00, out of desperation, my husband rang the police. It finally went off at 08:15."I know if I was woken up at 3am by an alarm, and it was still going off an hour later, I'd phone the police, sod waiting a further 3 hours. Paranoid Android
I can kind of see Jake's point about about minimum wage as I'm sure it does result in many "unfair" situations. However I think Alkaline etc are right that there are reasons for it making sense in many ways and that probably on balance it is better having it the way it is. Mr Owl PhD
http://tyneandwear.sky.com/news/article/46238The suspect is described as being black, aged about 21, around 6ft tall of stocky build with short shaven hair.If he was wearing a Tigger suit, isn't that a bit of a racist assumption?
