Moon Moon
Maybe YoungA's flipping his shite gear to someone even more ridiculous and makes a tidy profit on everything, like a smalltime Donald Trump.ive done that quite a few times. colb
ive done that quite a few times. Doubtful - I remember you bought a pedal at Downstairs and sold it for a loss an hour later. Not a great advert for your business acumen. its not focusing on that, i mainly want to see where my old gear has ended up Or what perfectly good equipment you've ruined/sold at a loss. That's too sad a thread..........

neepheid
So... back to the GAS? Not that I have any just now. Still would love a shottie of a Yamaha SBV-J2 (or any Yamaha SBV to be honest). Let's see that again: I see that R&B have got Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pros back in stock - I might pop in for a try of one at the weekend, and bring a strap with me to assess the balance. Same construction method (neck through), same types of wood used (mahogany/walnut laminated neck, mahogany wings), same pickups as the USA models - Gibson have gone a bit mad lately. If they're good, it's going to make a USA Gibson Thunderbird difficult to justify to anyone who isn't bothered about brand snobbery.
Old Gold
I'm still pretty keen for a Charvel. I'm holding off until i can pay for at least most of it with stuff I flog though.

fatboy
The rosewood felt stiff, may just be that guitar or myself favoring maple more thesedays. Don't get me wrong It was still a nice guitar to play and sounded nice, it has a a jb in the bridge opposed to a distortion in the other models
Soda Jerk
I need more Nine Of Swords. Specifically the Burial At Sea. I think I might. I've been recording some DOOM recently, and this would be a hit.
Teabags
So, now that I've got the Warpig in my SG, and I foudn just the right settings for my HM-2 to accompany it, I don't like playing any other guitars, cos they sound pure naff.So thanks for the recommendations, James the Cripple and Not-Phil. britheguy
I've got a couple of decent acoustics...but GAS is setting in. I think it's because there's a picture of one on the wee pop up ads on this site. Who said advertising doesn't work
Moon Moon
Ive got 4 acoustics which includes old yamahas which are lovely but a gibson j200 is calling my name
Bigsby
Would love a J200 but I can't imagine it would sound better than my J45.
Moon Moon
Now that's debatable, it's a full jumbo plus it looks better.

I've played a couple of J200's and they are really good and look nice. However I wouldn't say they look a lot better than a J45. there's something pretty cool about a J45 I think.
