Also would need to be allowed not to run (just spray passes with pin-point accuracy from a static midfield position), as I haven't kicked a ball (or opposing player) in anger since c.1982 when I was three stones lighter.. I think chasing the ball behind the goal sapped about 50% of my energy alone. I kept having to look over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't going to get twatted by a cricket ball. Nev Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 I'd say probably best to leave it a couple of weeks to see if we can get a consistent 10+ then start booking Goals etc. Folk playing on the grass consistently get first dibs for games at Goals.I'm happy to collate folk's email addresses and take on organising it at Goals.Alan, feel free to turn up next week on the grass and see how you enjoy it. I'd imagine games at Goals would be similarly slow-paced, just without the risk of beign whacked with a cricket ball.Captain America - No excuses man!
