Johnny Mac
Did anyone have brown water coming through their pipes yesterday?Apparently loads of parts of Aberdeen had this problem.I called Scottish water and apparently it's harmless.... I promptly went out and bought about 10L of water.Useless fuckers.

Lemonade
I drank about 40 glasses of water, washed my car, had a shower, a bath, washed my dog, had a water pistol fight, made a pot of soup, had another bath, and then poured numerous jugs of icy cold H2O all over a page 3 girls paps. All from my taps last night. And it was beautiful and crystal clear.

Afro Droid
We had it last night as well, on King Street. Phoned the Water Board and was told to run our kitchen tap til the water ran clear, which took about 3-4 hours. It's fine now.

Jim Stax
Its all part of the big plan to make us grateful for the wonderful service they provide when things go wrong, just before they put the prices up so we happily accept increased costs...o_O
Christy
Anyone read 'The Appeal' by John Grisham? This all sounds worryingly familiar....Love from Christy
Snowball
I had no water all morning/afternoon yesterday then brown supply for a few hours. I had problems with water pressure a while ago and they told me it was because I lived beside Pittodrie and I should try not to wash when there was a match on. o_O On the next phone call they freely admitted that older buildings need pressure of a certain amount (say, 4 whatever the measurement is) but in order to cut costs they have reduced the pressure to old Victorian buildings to less than this. They send a man out somewhere to turn it up. I don't trust the water board.
Sam 45
It was something to do with a line/pipe getting pierced on Union St on Tuesday i think. Was a nightmare at work.
