lepeep
I was nae fussed either way, a few too many ball shrinking moments (schmaltzee!)some of the effects were good, but the whole plot didn't really hang together, far to much hope pinned on "suspension of disbelief".I was one of the camcorders that seemed to avoid the EMP.I'll err on the side of "it was shite"
Guest Tam o' Shantie
you're wrong. in the words of Jenni it was 'utter gash' - that girl doesn't use such foul language on a daily basis so really it's emphasis of how bollocks it was. appalling storyline, terrible acting, the visual efects were totally laughable - i could have drawn them on with a crayon and people would be more convinced. lepeep
I was one of the camcorders that seemed to avoid the EMP.did I drink too much wine last night ?"I want one of those cam-corders that survive an EMP"as for the Rob, Rachel, Ray family (did he only have a book of names with all the pages ripped out except R ?)...I think they should have put the lottery on, as they are the luckiest family alive.Spoiler, they all survive an hook up at the end, nice, eh. Aceness
Independance day was far worse. Least WotW had no misplaced American patrotism, which makes the former pretty unwatchable now

David
the train was most amusingi thought the film was fucking excellent though...a few rather unbelieveable points (ignoring the invaded by aliens bit ) i was a bit annoyed to see robbie had survived at the end, considering he had followed the us army into what looked like armageddon, survived that, survived loads of the robots scouring that area (while they hid in the basement) then made it to boston safely after all that... it would have been a slightly cool twist of the normal happy ending for them to get the small girl home but for the son to have died (and a lot more believable in the context of the film)anyone els elike the resident evil scenes when they got to the hudson river? with all the people clambering allover the car like zombies (and the guy nicking his gun and killing the guy that took the car 8) )David

lepeep
Did anyone find the burning train funny? I giggled a good long whilethat bit was particularly funny...."everythings ok here, nothing bad happened here" (chooo chooo....)oops. aah, pretend you didn't see that kid.another amazing bit, the plane landing on the house, fewee, thankfully that debris didn't land on the car, and, oh, the little path that's still ok to drive on through the crash site...If I were that lucky, I'd have sat back, and waited for the end of the film to come to me...more exciting too.
