TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Okkervil River - Black Sheep BoyI read about Okkervil River in numerous musical publications, mostly journalists having power wanks about how great they are. So, keep us informed on what this is like.

vega
It is rather good, and has had a fair few successful spins at work.Any of his other albums worth getting? The only other thing under the Sun Kil Moon name apart from "April", is "Tiny Cities" - an entire album of Modest Mouse covers. If you buy the vinyl then you'll get a separate 12" with the live bootleg thing Maxi's talking about, I think. The Red House Painters stuff is awesome (highly recommend "Old Ramon"). Other albums are just under "Mark Kozelek". From what I've heard, his AC/DC covers album is very good. The guy writes like a trooper - heaps of albums! Also worth tracking down is his book, "Nights of Passed Over". Worth the price for the Live album you get with it!
