  1. Here's photos of the contents of the box of crap, cd's and the rowing machine (which also show the problem) the mysterious thing that I have no idea about and the usb networking kit the cd's the rowing machine folds up to store and here is the fault. The wheel bit was loose when it arrived (the seat bit was already assembled. And through use it became a bit warped, so got jammed on the rail. I just took it off cos it was annoying, the rowing machine still works, but I'd be hesitant to use tt with only 3/4 wheels on the bottom of the seat. To make it run smoothly you will need to replace or repair that bit
  2. Bump, prices not fixed by any means. If you're interested in several cd's or whatnot PM me a list and I'll give you a price. Want rid of as much of this as possible!
  3. I don't think their website can handle the traffic. My mate tried to get tickets for the Glasgow gig yesterday at 9am when they went on sale, he said the website crashed and by the time he actually got back onto it the pre sale tickets had sold out.
  4. I usually find the in ear ones too big but I've got sennheiser cx500's and they're pretty good. Sound quality is good for the money (only better pair i've owned were goldring lx200's that had rather expensive foam earbuds that fitted perfectly, sound quality was amazing, but it was 3 to replace these foam tips every month or two). Anyway the sennheiser cx500's are good and I'd recommend them, Will cost about 20 on amazon for a pair I think. Also have an independent volume control slider thing on the cable and a clip for attaching to clothing, which are both handy
  5. Will be moving house in a couple of months so trying to clear out some of my crap and cd's I no longer listen to. I'm a bit of a hoarder and have plenty more I don't listen to, just not sure if I want to part with them cos I grew up listening to them! May add more later Cd's.... 4 each or 3 for 10 These are all in vgc or mint condition. Descpriptions/songs from the album for the more obscure bands Drive By Monologue by The Hurt Process -> Pretty good emo/screamo type stuff I suppose. Ace folding cover too! A Heartbeat Behind by The Hurt Process -> 2nd album by them, more metalcorey, 1/2 heavy, 1/2 more mellow also how awful is this video!!?!?!?!?!? YouTube - The Hurt Process - "My Scandanavian Ride" Victory Records Wages of Sin by Arch Enemy (2cd edition) The Poison by Bullet for my Valentine Gold Medal in Metal by Dream Evil (2cd's unrealeased+live) Serpent Smiles and Killer Eyes by Hatesphere (+bonus dvd) -> Danish 'death/thrash' band so maybe melodeath? I dunno The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac Ring of Fire: The Legend of Johnny Cash What Demons Do to Saints by Beneath the Sky -> metalcore/deathcore YouTube - Beneath The Sky "7861" (High Quality) This Machine Runs on Empty by Bloodjinn -> more metalcore, but pretty good band. YouTube - Bloodjinn - Mirrored Human NIghtmare Inc by A Traitor Like Judas -> yep more metalcore, this time one of the better german bands YouTube - A Traitor Like Judas - Nightmare Inc. The Truth by Bleeding Through The Years to Come by Nodes of Ranvier -> yet more metalcore, but again a pretty decent band, and the opening instrumental on this is amazing Cemetery Earth by Pale Divine -> stoner/doom type stuff. Embrace the Final Day by Rafflesia -> Belgian metalcore. Toured with Heaven Shall Burn, and sound similar RAFFLESIA (NEW SONG ONLINE) on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads will have to do for them 9 by Damien Rice Battle Metal by Turisas The Varangian Way by Turisas Stuck Here on Snakes Way by Omnium Gatherum -> Finnish melodeath band. Supported Dark Tranquillity when they played Moshulu We Have Seen the Enemy... and the Enemy is Us by Enemy is Us -> another thrashy/melodeath type band ENEMY IS US on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads no old vids on youtube, or old songs on myspace it seems :S Beyond the Apocalypse by 1349 -> old school norwegian style black metal (on this album anyway) YouTube - Chasing Dragons - 1349 Determination by God Forbid -> this is one of their older albums, 2001 it was released Enigmatic Existence by Kryoburn -> industrial metal i think maybe? Couple of really catchy songs on this YouTube - kryoburn - reverse Malice by Through the Eyes of the Dead -> pretty old school death metal style album. Don't let the band name put you off, this is not deathcore like their first album! YouTube - Through The Eyes Of The Dead - As Good As Dead Cd's... other Jar of Flies/Dirt/Facelift 3cd box set by Alice in CHains 7 Warkult/The Will to Kill 2cd by Malevolent Creation 6 (old school death metal) YouTube - Malevolent Creation - Preemptive Strike Ascendancy by Trivium (cd case has a couple of cracks) 3 Self titled EP by Bullet for my Valentine (before they became utter cack! the cd case is a bit damaged) 3 Finally, I bought this as a present for someone who randomly stopped speaking to me, hence why I've still got it! It is a collectors item, limited to 2000 I think? It's on the internet. Play.com are wanting 27 for it :O and it's 12 cheapest on ebay. It's still shrink wrapped etc and totally untouched. Scream Aim Fire (limited 1GB bullet USB stick edition) 10 Games to Sell Xbox 360 Bioshock 6 Kung Fu Panda/ Lego Indiana Jones Twinpack 12 Elder Scrolls Oblivion 6 Project Gotham Racing 4 6 PSP Brave Story New Traveler -> great JRPG style game, never released here so this is a US import. 12 Midnight Club DUB Edition. 3 SSX On Tour 5 Dragooners Aria -> another JRPG here. 5 Other stuff! Christmas Trees! I have 3 for some reason, all boxed/unopened. 2x 5 foot aspen trees w/ basket. 5 each 1x 6 foot tree / basket. 6 Box of random stuff. Might consider splitting, but rather get rid of it as a whole. Has in it... 2 medium t shirts, a bratz ipod nano docking station, a belkin starter networking kit, a VOIP connector thingy, 50 maxell dvd cleaning cloths 2x orange belkin computery things. the box is not in english so i have no idea what they are. a belkin mobile phone case a set of ross headphones, a 4 piece shoecare set, a cd player case and a stopwatch thingy. All of it is new +boxed. Say 10? Reebok Rowing machine, it's broken but easily fixed. It's just needing a spare wheel that fits the bottom of the sliding seat. The old one was loose and bent, so it's unusable. Bought from argos <18 months ago, and I did buy a 3 year warranty for it, just kinda lost the paperwork, which may find when I move house dunno. Either way don't ahve the space for it. Make me an offer! Buy Reebok Edge Rower. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . it's that one there. But I paid 150 for it :S I MAY consider selling my wii. White wii console, 2 remotes, 1 wii motion plus, 2 steering wheels, 2 nunchucks, mario kart, super mario galaxy, wii play, mario and sonic at the olympics, house of the dead 1+2, rockstar presents table tennis, trauma centre second opinion wii sports, wii sports resort, okami and EA sports active.
  6. Not original, but maybe the ultimate yo momma joke...
  7. If you do the research on 7 string.org you will find a heap of love for Agile 7 strings and also for Carvins. Both have very good custom shops but Carvins are hella expensive so guess you're not wanting one of them!. Although you will have to buy these brand new and import them, they're worth the money. Rondo Music Electric Guitars is the Agile website. I want a decent 7 string and I'll probably end up buying one of the 27' interceptor pro's when I get the money (probably a good couple of years away!). I've already got an agile and I'm really happy with it. I will admit I prefer the thinner neck profiles of the Ibanez prestige models but they're just too expensive! Also, check out the colour of this! AFAIK schecter or ibanez have rather plain finishes If you're wanting a second hand one that really limits you to Ibanez, Schecter or ESP's though I would imagine.

    Pet Hates!

Can I work at your bit? I need more hours atm I've probably stalked you loads of times, I'm back working at a cafe about 30 seconds from where you work again.... I was 18 when I started uni yet I've had one day off work in 3 years, and that day I was barely even able to get out of bed! So yes their are some of us who work and don't go out getting pissed every night Although I will happily admit I'm not a hardcore studier, last minute revision works fine atm. Although I know I will have to work harder on intercalated Bsc next year Hillhead is a nightmare noise wise. I stayed on the ground floor of Burnett and everyone who walked past drunk from the hole knocked on the window or even if they didn't the path was right outside my window so the noise woke me up soo many times. Apathy ftw. I don't give a shit about student council elections, and thankfully cos we're based at Foresterhill, people rarely turn up to harass us either.
  9. KCRW | 89.9FM - Media Player Is the link to the new Minus the Bear album stream. Totally different to the other 3 albums it seems. Very heavily synth oriented and with less of the guitar hooks which to me defined their sound. May grow on me but so far least favourite of the lot and not a patch on Menos El Oso IMO TEST PRESSING: An Exclusive Stream of Kayo Dot's 'Coyote' LP | self-titled magazine :: s/t daily Is the Kayo Dot stream. It's very very surreal and may take a few listens to actually appreciate. Also, like the last Maudlin of the Well album, they are doing a plea for people to pledge money for the next Tartar Lamb album which may interest some of you. I dunno if anyone likes them on here
  10. Any idea when the EP will be out? I still remember Ross promising me a free copy, but I'm happy to pay See ya at warehouse!
  11. You can delete it now, everyone knows what John W looks like and no one should have to endure the pain of seeing my face.
  12. Lol I never said YOU were annoying per se, I just hate having my picture taken, so anyone with a camera is my enemy, and you happened to be weilding said object at said time, thus attracting my annoyance. Plus I know you never asked anything, as above really. I've just got a face that shouldn't be photographed under any circumstances! You actually now own the stalking thread now, having photographic evidence and all, cos I had no idea who you were
  13. He spoke to me as well, just as the annoying people with cameras were walking our way. So their may exist a photo of me nearly licking his ear...... dunno why, but when people ask me to pose, that's always the first thing that comes to mind ?( pretty sure I still had lipstick on my forehead at that point too. Musta been a horrifying photo I suck at this stalking game, cos the only people from here I know all know me. Saw HairyScaryMark for instance but he was sitting beside me chatting so quite hard not to
  14. I think I've been to all but one of KCHGH's gigs and James can deffo pull it off amazingly well live. Anyway the EP sounds sick. Shall be getting a copy or two
  15. I've liked Jairus for ages (was introduced to them by a German friend of all people :O) but woulda been nice to check out you guys and The Ocean Fracture too. Will try and make it along but I'll probably be knackered after giving blood then 8 hours at work.
  16. Oh any idea of stage times? I quite like Jairus but am working til about 9:30ish so no chance of making it down before about 9:40 sadly
  17. They haven't practiced either from what I understand I'm friends with the drummer and I know for a fact he hasn't played drums for nearly 2 years... could be interesting?
  18. Ha ha I remember them. One of my mates was friends with them cos they made the drummer a 'penis cake' for his Birthday... it was actually just a cake shaped like the aforementioned object. Which I later surpassed for someone else's birthday. We made it with pink icing, used whipping cream for obvious effect and even used chocolate sprinkles for hairs on the accompanying balls. It was truly a work of art. Anyway... if you go to the male toilets in the tunnels, in the left hand cubicle, there is a big silver pipe running overheard. On this pipe is a 'The Zico Chain' sticker, placed there by aforementioned friend, who was 6'8 and could pretty much put stickers on the roof. I could have got onto the guest list when they played in Aberdeen because of this, but never did bother going Another download announcement on Monday, 22 bands announced I seem to remember them saying.
  19. This was used on the bbc sport website Who knows what's going on there.....
  20. YouTube - Chat Roulette Funny Piano Improv #1 That is amazing. I want to do that with a guitar now... but then I'd just be copying him
  21. I'm guessing it was probably Kaizen since he lives with John W.... it certainly wasn't me I've not seen him since the last time I was at Warehouse, which must be nearly a month ago
  22. The Dillinger Escape Plan - Option Paralysis Hopesfall - The Satellite Years Secondskin - Captive Audience and just about to go buy some The Sound of Animals Fighting
  23. I totally didn't reply to the wrong thread or anything. On topic.. I dislike the BNP and this stirring by them

    Pet Hates!

That reminds me.... one of the people who added me on facebook the other day was my half brother. I've not met him in 7/8 years but last time I did Ireally didn't like him. So wondering whether to or not bearing in mind my current mantra of if I don't speak to you I don't add you. Know what you mean about the wall stuff as well, especially people sending you invites to 'mafia wars' or that stupid fish tank thing. haha no one does give a shit about it, which is why I get annoyed when people post messages on your facebook wall despite not speaking to me in a year. That's why I find it annoying, it's so fake it's unreal. I feel it's rude to reject friend requests! It's not the same as being rude in person but I still feel bad about it.

    Pet Hates!

It's not happened yet so this is only going on previous yearts.... People you don't talk to or don't like sending 'happy birthday' messages on facebook. Yes I know it's my fault adding them in the first place, hence why I stopped adding people I don't know or have never talked to properly, Atm have 36 unanswered friend requests) Still, if you didn't use facebook you would have no idea. I know it's just being polite and everything, but if they actually did care, would say it in person or via text Something that makes it look like they actually weren't just told by a website. Maybe it's just me, but I get annoyed by people being patronising like that. It's only genuine if they actually know me,
