Heskey is wanting out and have lots of big teams sniffing round some of my better players. Currently 12th after 6 games. Hello, i'm thinking of splashing out on a new digital camera or camcorder in the next few weeks, but would appreciate some 'non-online review' advice. I have about 300 to spend and i'm looking for a step up from standard entry models. I have lots of experience with film cameras, but i've not really delved into the digital realm. In a camera i'm looking for an intuitive menu system, good images and hopefully some creative control over what I capture. Not sure if I can get an SLR for this price, but it would be nice! In a camcorder, ideally it would record to HD or miniDV, with the process of transferring video to a Mac as painless as possible. Mainly looking at recording band practices/gigs with it. Sorry for the vague outlines, but i've been trawling the internet all morning and it's all starting to read the same! Any and all help is appreciated!

Any documentary on the Descendants probably wouldn't do the band justice. It has always puzzled me why they have been overlooked in other films, but i've always felt films, such as American Hardcore, kinda do the general analysis sort of thing, or pick a band or group of bands and focus on them. Holburn Junction is right at the top of Union Street, i think maybe the charity shop is Sue Ryder Care but i'm not sure. they're always on display in the window, can't miss it.

the charity shop at holburn junction sells decent acoustics for 40. you can also pick up a violin or a trumpet for similar prices.

how often is the farmers market on the green? every friday, every second friday? i wish aberdeen had a regular [daily?] market like i seem to remember from when i was a kid.

where does a good veggie breakfast? i like the pancake stack from books and beans, but can't find anywhere that offers a full veggie alternative. tk's and the bobbin used to, but they don't do it with the quorn sausages and that anymore
