  1. I wreckon there'd be people / bands who would be keen on this, theres been stuff on here and Facebook before.......money is the big question mark with musicians isnt it? most want something for nothing, not all... but most
  2. Trying to send a PM but you cant recieve them, any suggestions?
  3. Dont think ive ever played a gig where there isnt someone moaning about not being able to hear someones instrument or something else, it must be a total nightmare keeping everyone happy, the sound guys in all venues in Aberdeen do their best, the ones ive met are good lads and are always helpful, to rubbish them publicly is low, what do they want? a fucking red carpet? Drummonds and the Tunnels arent the SECC or the Barrowlands.....not that you always get great quality sound at "better" venues. Deal with it or dont do it is what i say.
  4. Stroll on!!! that is an awsome piece of kit!!!
  5. free bump for an awsome instrument!!
  6. Think its harsh on Pardew, whatever his shortcomings are the problems always seem deeper than managers, suppose Ashley wiped a lot of debt. Doesnt help that theres 55,000 beying for blood every week, basically for being perennially trophy shy, if it was Bolton no one would give a fuck.
  7. They should get Nigel Adkins in!!
  8. Usless info maybe, as i didnt build mine, but i bought a Univox Fuzzrite clone ages ago CHEAP! and its amazing, its a vintage sounding thing that nails The Stooges guitar tone almost perfectly! Heard some online demos of BYOC's - Beaver and it sounded fantastic too, theyre a bit more pricey though.
  9. Trace Elliott do some decent bass combos n'stuff, i used to have one and it sounded fine, it got sold for £70. It was quite loud too. If you turn up to a gig with a Matamp GREEN bass rig / stack they'll only tell you to turn it down anyway
  10. Hey, I think the ideas are great, the 1st reminds me of something Lou Barlow would do with Sebadoh, or maybe even early Nirvana? ( holds onto seat ), the rest i can totally hear would be great recorded in a studio, done by someone who "got" you guys. I possibly missed the point, but id prefer bass, a Mclusky style fuzzy bass to go with it. The recordings are lo-fi ( obviously ) hope you dont mind, but i dont think theyre good or do it any justice, sounds like a bands recorded jam and thats it, cant guage the guitar or drum tone at all. Drums are out of time in parts too. Ideas are good.
  11. Dont imagine much in the way of a confession or anything out of the ordinary in this....but i for one will be watching http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2013/jan/09/lance-armstrong-interview-oprah-winfrey
  12. Theres some decent semi pro footballers.
  13. This is great, love his drumming and the sound he gets from them, love the guitar tone too... this actually sounds like it couldve been released around the same time as Pinkerton. Really good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sKFSCaS5DM Not bad for a Port Vale fan.
  15. Apparently Jonjo Shelvey deleted his Twitter account ( scary dary ) the other day after the panning he got from the Liverpool fans after the Stoke game, thought he was alright personally, the defending was fucking attrocious. God knows what Suarez, Gerrard and Enrique think of this lot.....stroll on!!, bin dippers are woeful.
  16. I like it, think with the amount of indie bands there is, it would be dead easy to be terrible, the vast majority are, that i personally have seen locally anyway, but this is V.good.....i'd drop the accent, it sounds a bit put on man ( i realise it probably isnt, but still....) hope you dont mind me saying. . Nice work.
  17. http://pile.bandcamp.com/music This is my album of the year, its brilliant.
  18. Wish i was at the Brit tonight....instead of stood on top of my garage with my kegs on my head.
  19. Fuckin get in, fuckin bin dippers.
  20. Shola's not shit, hes just a bit synonymous with what was wrong with the Toon before they got relegated, they had half a dozen Shola's - decent on their day which was once every 20 games. Sholas alright like, done alright for himself outside football too by all accounts? does he not own a large part of some houseing development in the Toon?
  21. Fair enough like, not being a dick here but how do you go about improving your playing? im just curious as my playing has stagnated a bit, ive always gone with "play someones riffs who's better" doesnt always work.....
  22. I dont have a problem with the "idea" of it, everyone likes learning someone elses tune dont they? the problem is, the genral public have no clue about music which causes cover bands to choose the 15 same fucking songs in every pub in every town every Saturday night - forever, the vast majority have decent guitarists and drummers but shite singers, which we all know most of the time that means - drivel. Someone doing a good job of pretending to be KISS or, i dunno Pearl Jam is ok for a larrrrffff. Id prefer to listen to that than a lot of other shit thats played in pubs.
