  13. Nice, the Jag in that colour is particularly nice and the Roland Jazz Chorus ( is it? ) really like those amps, you probably know but Andy at M.V has one and it sounds so good on a reasonable volume, such great clean tones. Fender cleeeeeeean toooooooones mmmmmmmmmmmm.
  14. Hello,

How much for the RAT and the MXR dual distortion?

  15. For the perfect Ray Wilkins impression, put on your best "cocken - eye" accent and say this - "I know im' and 'ees a very noice chaaaaaaap". It should sound a little like a bad Michael Cane. The End.
  16. They dont pay the taxes because senonimously with other people / business's - "liquidation" clearly doesnt mean the end, mostly a clean slate. I dont imagine the people who run these clubs are idiots, but what they all try to do is keep up with the Jones's, no doubt it will continue that way. Dont think anyone has any idea how to remedy the situation. Wage - caps and the like are "apparently" illegal, you wont tell some billionaire clown that spending £100,000,000 to finish 6th is'nt a viable comodity so what hope have you got? One thing is for sure, in Scotland, Hearts wont be the last...maybe in the long run its going to be a good thing. Ive no idea how certain English clubs have avoided it. None.

I beat Premiership referee Phil Dowd in the quarter final of the Sentinel ( Staffordshire Newspaper ) shield golf tournament in 2001 ( ish ) - Rock n'roll
  18. Think Tiote is the only one i'd expect or be fearful of leaving, Man Utd are screaming for that kind of player, suprised its taken this long, guess thats testament to how Ashley is running the club latetly, he seems to have changed peoples opinions of him quite dramatically. But to be fair, Newcastle did most of it without Tiote last season! so no worries there. As for the old "were a big club, we should be winning stuff" atittude, i think that went after the relegation, and good riddence. Some might argue, its the best thing that couldve happened at the time. ( it certainly saved you Alan Shearer in management spell Im really looking forward to watching the Toon do the business in Europe this year, semi final...maybe even a final!! ( touch wood ).
  19. I really enjoy watching Newcastle now, i used to find them annoying beyond belief...dunno why. They play awsome fast football, great at the back, great if not world class centre midfielders. I thought after last season they'd have a real crack at Europe, y'know cos most continental teams hate that style play, maybe they still will???.......surely the Toon would prefer taking home the Europa league than finshing 6/7th in the Premiership..........?? theyre looking pretty good in it
  20. I suppose if we have the answer to that, were in the wrong job other than teams get wise to how all teams play, i'd say. The only differences i saw in Newcastle was when Ba was on the bench for a brief spell, when his contract was supposedly in question, wasnt Ben Arfa injured for a bit too? ( there most talented footballer in my eyes ) and now in my opinion the linch pin of the side Tiote will be out through suspension no doubt. The results havent been as favourable as they were last season, but last season was as good a season a rebulit team will ever have in the premiership. They'll still win far more than they lose for sure. Far from alarm bells for me.
  21. Surely the only worries about you can have about Newcastle can be "If and when" they sell the best players? Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba? After the season they had last year?? In my opinion Newcastle were THE most entertaining side in the league last year, they were never going to surpass that this year?, plus theyve had injuries / suspensions and obviously the "suposed" unrest of Ba? Get Shearer back in!! i can almost hear it now ( J )
