  1. Sounds a bit Tony Hart this too me man
  2. Shes a belter no doubt, but in my opinion theyre all at it, the sooner they make ROIDS legal and we get a "Super Human" as well as a "Special" olympics the better! i cant fucking wait for someone to run a sub - 5 second 100metres! or a Pole Vault without the pole!! awsome!
  3. Seriously? im not in the least bit suprised to hear about Jimmy Saville, ever watch that thing Louis Theroux did on him? he was a fucking freak show. As for Lance Armstrong the only thing that suprises me is that it was actually uncovered, as the USA does love a cultural icon, and that he most certainly is. You watch - Usain Bolt and Phil Schofield next!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Im so happy that the bin rakers are shit, so glad we regularly get results against them hahaha! G'WAAAAAAAAAAAARN YOU POTTERS!!!
  5. Will consider trades for this now, im looking for a decent acoustic ( not 12 string ). Also in the market for electrics, as long as its not shaped like a ninja star or anything hideous...... or anything made by Ibanez, unless its an artist series.
  6. Hello there,

What sort of price are you looking for for the acoustics? im definately after a high end acoustic.

  7. Working on a HEAVY new project with the very good peeps Scott and Chris from "Prelude to the Hunt", already sounding a tad awsome! Also got a Gloomy indie project ive started in the vein of True Widow, Jesu........cool story dude.......
  8. I think acoustic guitars is where it varies a little bit, not to split hairs too much but for £300, which is roughly what a vintage Yamaha FG-180 would cost, you could compare that to say a Martin / Taylor of £1000, and then give me the Yamaha everyday of the week. I agree with Jan on USA Fenders but anyone that tells me the build quality of USA Gibson is consistent is actually having a laugh, and that goes for the high end stuff too. Not that anyone has haha!
  9. Ebay is bad enough, but its Paypal directly after that, that really pisses me off when it AUTOMATICALLLY takes a percentage of what you sold it for!! wankers!! I wreckon if i sold this for £800 id end up about £700 after all was done, fuck knows how they hold the monopoly on this type of thing, no idea.
  10. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cow that was.
  11. Expensive, i'd love a "Electrical guitar company" guitar more than a decent car or probably even food on the table . I know theyre made of different materials.............. £2,000 for a guitar.....jeez
  12. just look at it.........................................
  13. I agree that its overpriced totally, Epiphone / Gibson - Fender / Squire debate is one that will last forever, and one including snobbery and personal preference. High end musical gear is so over priced and has always been. I own a Gibson Sg Standard and before owned one of the cheaper "sg specials" and i honestly prefered the special, in sound and playablity - hands down, no contest. The sound was EXACTLY the same. The Standard was £1400 and the Special was £400. Given what kind of people buy guitars ( just normal working folks generally speaking ) I think its more than a little unfair.
  14. bump....................................not one single email about this, its listed in 4 different places.
  15. x2 Dennis Marshall is the only person i would trust, especially with a nice amp like a 6505, hes reasonably priced and QUICK ( in my experience ) don't bother with shops, they never sound like they've any interest in repairs, they always give the old "...what is it? ahhh you see we'd have to....." blah blah fuck off, don't take my money then. Cant speak about R&B never been in for amp repairs. Dennis Marshall - The end.
  16. Jeez, cash converters....definately agree on that, could be quite a good earner and nothing to set up, could be good for some DIY gigs, minimal expense..again i dunno, what i do know is System of a down T's and C.D's wont cut it in Aberdeen. The Moorings had an ace idea of showing films on Sunday afternoon, dunno how much success thats had, i suppose "Beer + Aliens" might be more appealing than "Coffee / Cheese toastie + Nightmare on Elm street"....hmm or maybe not Theyve a tonne of space to fill. Jesus and mary Chain - Darklands ( OK ) Sebadoh - III ( Good ) Sebadoh - The freed man ( Meh ) My Bloody Valentine - Loveless ( Good ) My Bloody Valentine - Isnt everything ( OK) Red Kross - Phase shifter ( blegh )
  17. Wreckon so, theres always a load of folk selling music gear on here so why not allocate part of the shop for that and charge folk 10% ( or something...ducks for cover ) to sell there gear in there? thats no outlay or effort at all ..maybe im off the mark and they already tried it or something. I would go in more for sure.
  18. Bump - pics here. http://s876.photobucket.com/upload/albums/fertuiee/
  19. Its a shame they cant just modernise it in some way, its a fair size shop ....maybe a small gig venue of some description, for anything comedians etc, i dunno stick a coffee machine up the corner ....maybe they already tried....shame like.
