  1. Fair comment, I am only saying what I've seen for the last 10 / 15 years or so and I cant agree more about "incompetent" managers, but they cant do anymore than play them together can they? whoever is running the side, that is what managers have done for the last 10 years or so, to little or no avail. There's not many sides with 2 "world class" midfielders that fail perennially, but that's just my opinion. I'm not sure how much "better" international teams worry about tactics, or what position there better players play in, within reason of course.
  2. I don't hate Liverpool, id like to see them successful again. Like I said it works most of the time for Liverpool, sometimes not, but internationally I think he's always been average, if not garbage, only my opinion, possibly due to the fact he's mostly been surrounded by average or less that average players. Bitter haha! Lampard single handedly carried Chelsea? did we watch the same team? I would've scored 15/20 in the title winning sides! haha! That was a top class side wasn't it? Im sure Drogba, Cech and Makalele would have something to say about that. I don't know either of them from adam, Lampard seemed a decent sort of bloke on that James Cordon quiz show?? doesn't detract from the fact he's bollocks for England.
  3. Melvins - The Bulls and Bees e.p. - Brilliant, as good as anything they've done. Only just realised it existed, but its free and here: http://www.scionav.com/collection/917/Melvins---The-Bulls--The-Bees VHOL - "VHOL" Bloke from YOB and some other angry buggers, it, too, is marvellous. http://www.metalunderground.com/reviews/details.cfm?releaseid=10294
  4. There is not nearly enough, middle-clarrrse "quirky" solo acoustic performers, mediocre indie bands OR indecipherably heavy bands covered in tattoos with the same haircuts. More please.
  5. Iggy pop is one of those people who makes everyone look and feel a bit shit isnt he? 60 and still jumping around like Bruce Lee, you can see 15 year olds in the crowd "wince" as if to say, "bit lively in't he?"....whislt he dry humps a marshall stack.
  6. Fairly close to the original line up of Iggy and the Stooges, a few times actually, this would include Iggy inviting the majority of Great Britain up onto the stage with them. I saw Pantera too, a lot of folks round my way were proper jealous of that, i always thought they were pretty meh, until i saw them live and they literally blew the place apart. Pixies, 3 times. Blind Melon ( who? ) yeh, they were pretty good......300 hundred years ago. Someone mentioned Yourcodenameis:milo, one of the best live bands ive ever seen. I saw Winnebago Deal years a few years back and it was fucking insanely good, partly because someone in the "pit" ( are they still called that? ) had a pink Nazi helmet........ (.huh huh....helmet ) ........on, with the spike in the middle and everything. Happy with that.

  8. Hey, you need to empty your inbox as you cant recieve any new messages. I have a cheap acoustic for sale. Mark
  9. Brian Clough every day of the week.
  10. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what IS wrong with Liturgy??? Renhilations bloody rayt proper good, a'tell thee
  11. I agree with this, only, I really love the writing process............when its going well, which unfortunately isn't a lot of the time. I was listening to an interview with Wino and he was basically saying writing and being in a band is a total pain in the arse 90% of the time, but its worth it for the 10% when it IS going well? I think theres an element of truth to that with the vast majority of bands, although theres obviously a difference with "full time" bands and ones that play the Tunnels 5 times a year. On the main subject, I love playing music, I think id be happy playing anything from Black metal to pop If it was decent. I've been playing guitar with Deadloss Superstar for the last 12 months or so and can honestly say its the first time ive been 100% stress free and 100% enjoying it..........feels a bit weird, I mean that in the best possible way, in that.........there is NO stress and stuff still gets done. Its my main hobby, always has been. Im kinda easy with what it brings, Tuesday jams and the odd gig is great! Cant help but wonder what its like to pile everything in a van and go around the country or something. Bit old for that now though!
  12. Did the Bootleg Beatles not play Glastonbury once? im not sure. Ive never seen cover bands high up on the agenda at bigger festivals.
  13. Plus Belladrum is a bit of a "family festival" isn't it, well it is when ive been anway. To my eye its always going to suit that kind of band more than a young Death Metal band from Elgin, even though there is obviously bands playing originals. I don't imagine the Dangleberry's headlining Reading or Leeds or any cover bands for that matter ( except a KISS cover band, which are always immense. )
  14. Its like he based his whole image on the clothes stalls at some Euro festival, walking through them "baked" thinking......"hmmmmmmmm whats adequetely shit here then???" The Zebra pyjamas he was wearing onstage a while back were fooking pricelss, guys got skillz though.
  15. Nicarette gums man, took me 2 go's but they worked!! 3 years without one. ( gloat )
  16. Maybe not, think they'll be fine personally. A few clubs need to find players though.
  17. Even though they've got 100 mill to play with?
  18. The Siamese Dream guitar tone is still the best ever. Even though he's a bit of a twat.
