  1. You are in for a treat! As an aside, stumbled across this when searching for the BB album. http://big-dick.bandcamp.com/ Bass - drums - ominous google search = awesome.
  2. Big Business - Battlefields Forever. http://bigbigbusiness.bandcamp.com/album/battlefields-forever I have waited for this album for what seems like forever, its good.............very - very good. A bands fourth album being their "best" is near unheard of, so that's a bold statement, but its definitely the most instant. I am currently sat on my sofa drinking beer punching the air at least 3 times a song. They're absolute riff machines I love them. 9/10 only because its not finished yet.
  3. Hes had some amount of dental work done i know that ! he looks like bloody "Fivel - on meth"
  4. "One word to describe Alex Ferguson" My cousin: "Ass hole" Im going to fucking slap him in the ear when I see him.
  5. Brandy.....nah, I just went Becks, was toying with Old Speckled Hen but .....I fear change. Other differences were Sainsburys 79p Garlic and something tomato passata and a tad of nutmeg and oreg'no..... as our fellow Yooo Ess A'ers say.
  6. Have to agree, i've been a lifelong Stoke fan but I find Huth embarrassing when I watch us, he's crap. It was undoubtably effective under T.P and I used to find his blatant skulduggery a little bit funny, obviously not the nasty bits ( hides behind sofa ) simply because he got away with it, play to whistle n'all that. Its a bit out-dated now especially since all the other teams are vastly improved, Norwich gave us the absolute run around a few weeks back. Sunderland and Palace are clearly hopeless so fingers crossed at least one of them are done already cos I fear a relegation battle looming. I was over in Munich earlier this year just after they cleaned up, and got speaking to some folks over there and they were saying that he's still in the wreckoning for the international side, they found it piss funny, I thought so too. Palacios is a mystery to me, an absolute mystery. I was over the moon when T.P signed him, but he's encountered the famous Stoke city "ability vacuum" since he arrived and has barely started a game. Heard a rumour his brother was murdered in some gangland thing in Honduras, dunno if that owt to do with it. United have a plan, of that I have no doubt, I think Moyes will be given time and will do a more than decent job of it, hopefully with some decent local talent, hats off I like Moyes.
  7. I must say, this thread is one of the best on here. I've tried a few of the recipies, notably this ( someone posted a burger filled with cheese and that was pretty immense too ) and the hot wings one. Its a toss up between these 2 which is the best, think this just nudges it. Beer - chocolate - meat - chilli..............fucking hell.
  8. Brian Clough - Provided you dont kiss me A journalists portrail of following Brain Clough around football grounds over 20 years bascially being verbally abused by the great man.....in a truly Brian Clough way of course, seriously though. Fantastic read!
  9. Quote from Fergies autobiography ......the Man Utd Fergie, not the singer of the Black eyed peas, maker of tractors or princess of....twatshire...or somewhere. "What was your highlight at Manchester United?" "Finding out Gary and Phils dad was called Neville. Neville Neville......" Brilliant.
  10. For a bit of perspective, I watched Reservoir Dogs straight after it. I've only seen it once before, and thought it was okay. That opinion still hasn't changed. It feels like a whole lot of nothing really happens. I like how unhinged Madsen's character is, but little else. Also, why does Nice Guy Eddie die at the end? It's a 3 way stand off. Joe shoots Orange who is already dying. So White shoots Joe. Eddie shoots White. Nobody shoots Eddie, but he dies anyway. Haha my brain is still mashed from the Australian and Tarantino playing a cockney!! ( possibly Australian ) Been years since i saw Res-dogs, has to be well worth another scan!!!. Dr Shultz is probably Tarantinos best character, im gonna do Halloween as dr Shultz. Yes.
  11. Just watched Django myself and thought it was fucking brilliant. I'm not a big film watcher...at all really, but i'm pretty convinced Tarantino is my favourite...maker of...films. It didn't seem as all over the place as the others i've seen. A lot more "meat and drink". One thing i would say is, I have NEVER felt so uneasy watching a film, ever. The N-word was used so much i'm not sure if it was way beyond excessive or a stroke of genius because by the end i was hoping for at least another half an hours worth of Django vengeance!!! As much as you could dislike the "baddy" characters, DeCaprio is fucking brilliant in it! Great film, its long but i would gladly watch again no worries!

  13. Red Fang - Blood like Cream. Like a bit of R.F me, the first record / e.p was a bit in and out as you'd expect to be from a band that had recorded something in a few different places over a fair period of time, but i always thought they had RIFFS and amazing guitar tone ( Fender and Sunn 0)) Beta Leads!! ooffft!!! ) and great vocal hooks, exciting to hear a band like that, less polsihed than Baroness ( and generally better ) and more listener friendly than the Melvins. ( but no where near as good ) = WIN!! Murder the mountains was a strange debut album for me, as i expected to be fantastic, instead it has a few fantastic songs on it and a few .....meh ones. Still, great guitar tone and awesome vocals, and some great RIFFS. This is the record i wanted to hear from them, all of the above just no.... MEH moments. Mike Sheindt from YOB doing a guest vocal, never a bad thing!!! Only slight thing if i was being picky would be the double layered vocals has gone, i loved that before, it gave it that little bit of an Ozzy feel i kinda like, but hey, its hardly noticable. Good album 8/10
  14. Pile - Magic isn't real. I love this album, there is not one single bad song on it. Its full of little gems. Great guitar playing, drumming is fantastic, great lyrics and vocals. Awesome.
  15. This album is crazy good. Their drum tone / sound is unreal too. 26' bass drums should be made law.
  16. Steve Von Till - Elementary School teacher.
  17. As much for the reaction of the kids in the bottom right and left.
  18. No one? im comparing him to no one. Whatever anyone thinks are the "greater qualities" of Frank Lampard Junior ( I personally think he's dreamy ) all i was saying was that his international form has never matched his league form, which for an England fan I find frustrating, rest assured he's not on his own, and certainly not the worst, or some would argue, 100% "to blame" for that, I have mixed opinions. Alas......today I found.................... I was wrong
