  4. I only really got to look at my results through the portal thing in my 3rd and 4th year as it was fairly new. I HATED that wait, just after you've typed in your password and pressed enter! Horrible!

  8. Nothing will beat the first series, although this series has been cool! All the Nina Myers stuff was ace, as was President Palmer's glorious return a few episodes ago! What a legend he is!
  9. Narc, how could you possibly forget MARCO BOOGERS!
  10. 1. Live With Me - The Rolling Stones (what an opening bass line!!!!!!) 2. I Found That Essence Rare - Gang Of Four (cheers Narc!) 3. Say Hello To (Juan Pablo?) Angels - Interpol 4. Something Inside Of Me - The Coral 5. Everyday Is Like Sunday - Morrissey
  11. Not a lot! It was like 'Blind Date': "Question for Number Two" A lot of 'no comments', quite rightly! If I was on that jury, I'd be straight out the back door and into the nearest restaurant for an all-expenses-paid 3 courser!
  12. I just watched a press conference for the JURY on Fox News!!!!!!! Only in America, right enough. Tres bizarre!
  13. Dunno like! If the Dons were in the UEFA Cup final or something, I think my lovely bride would have to wait at least 90 mins to get a bit of the Time Machine!
  14. JJ, it was either that or Travis!
  15. Turn Into Stone, I don't own that funnily enough as I have all the tracks already. That's maybe a '93 release. The Complete Stone Roses is '95. She was in another class. We had three.
  16. No youth movement? Are you sure?! 1993 was classic 'Living and Growing' time for us Primary 6-ers! I was part of a rebel faction of my class which protested at having to explain to the rest of the class about the female menstrual cycle! We weren't having any of that! That was Martin and Marsali's job! Haha!
  17. I got a shot of the 'Best Of The Lemonheads', really like it! I read that Dando was a bit of an Oasis hanger-on around then.
  18. I can almost hear people rushing to their CD stackers to check the year the albums were released!
  19. Just wondering what people's thoughts on this band are? I remember hearing Paul Weller raving about them in an interview, and I went out and bought the 'Skeleton Key EP'. I actually watched them at Lava as it was then, along with a handful of folk. Was anyone else at that gig? I remember it well, it was stunning. Actually stood next to James Skelly at the bar, I should've got the EP signed in hindsight! Must've been back in early '02. I've seen them quite a few times now. They seem to be getting better and better in my opinion. I remember seeing them in Glasgow in June '02 at the QMU, in a gig that was supposed to be a joint headline with The Music, until they pulled out. We all watched the Spain v Ireland World Cup game in Firewater on Sauchiehall Street before it. Great game, great gig! The new album is wicked too!
  20. Yeah, I was thinking along those lines, but, not owning any Suede stuff, i wouldn't know!
  21. Round at a mate's at the weekend, we were all blethering about music as per usual, i.e. 'Favourite Stones record' etc etc, (same old, same old!) and we eventually got on to talking about albums from the 90s, and I discovered that (I think) the only record in my fairly extensive collection that was released in 1993 is Blur's 'Modern Life Is Rubbish' (my only Blur album). Was there a dearth of great music in this particular year, or was the world just preparing itself for the release of Definitely Maybe and other great records?
  22. Did any o' yiz see that documentary on Barcelona last night on BBC 2? I mind my mate going on about it months ago when it was on BBC3, it was really good. Behind the scenes, in the boardroom and that, following the new president Joan Laporta and his board in their first season etc. You got to see the likes of Ronaldinho (nae a bonny loon) signing his mega contract, and you also found out that Patrick Kluivert's contract was 10% of the ENTIRE wage bill of the squad!!! No wonder he looked like he couldna be airsed at Newcastle! The fans as well were absolutely nuts! Plus, all Laporta and his band of merry men seemed to do was eat and drink heaps of tapas and wine! Sounds like my kinda job!
  23. 1. Rain - The Beatles 2. Wash In The Rain - The Bees 3. Rainfall - The Vines 4. Knee Deep And Down - The Rain Band 5. The Rain Song - Led Zeppelin
