  1. Nope, I were in East Kilbride at the time...
  2. Screw that, just come and watch Peterhead. We play good football and lose consistently. Well worth whatever extortionate amount we're charging these days.
  3. My flatmate has decided to leave our flat in Charles St just off George St, so I'm looking for someone to take his place. It's a modern two-bedroom affair with GCH, DG and nicely furnished. Laminated flooring throughout the living areas, and built-in wardrobes in the bedrooms. We've got Sky TV and Broadband hooked up, and gas/electricity bills are very reasonable. The area's quite quiet as the block is set back from the road, and has private parking. 350pcm plus bills. Room would be available at the end of next month.
  4. You'd love the Eastside forum... Full of VAG owners.
  5. We'd have won if MANCINI WASN'T SHITE!
  6. On the bright side, the redshite from Stretford were quite amusing...
  7. Referee John Beaton is officially shite. They get worse every year, those incompetent fuckwits.
  8. Most recent physical purchases: Mogwai - Special Moves/Burning CD/DVD set QOTSA: Rated R X Radiohead - The Best Of (never really liked Radiohead enough to warrant an album purchase) MSP - Forever Delayed (seeing as I'm seeing them later this month) Min Diesel - Din Measles EP Motorhead - Aces Up My Sleeve (another best of seeing as I'm seeing them soon) Pavement - Quarantine the Past Pop Will Eat Itself - Product (1986-1994)
  9. I mind seeing Jed Stirling pan a 25 yard free kick off the bar for Thistle at Old Bayview circa 1996. Still rattling about 5 minutes later. Now there was a shite footballer with a beast of a kick.
  10. Anybody pick up the live album/DVD from the Hawk Is Howling tour?
  11. First physio tomorrow. Still limping. I can imagine the drive to Peterhead and back tomorrow will be fun...

    Pet Hates!

People who, when you ask if they fancy doing something more than a few days in advance, say "that's too far away, I don't know what I'm doing", then if you ask them closer to the time complain that "it's too soon". For instance, a fortnight before a gig: "Do you fancy going to see A Band at Tunnels in A Fortnight?" "Too far away, dunno what I'm doing then" Five days before same gig "Do you fancy going to see A Band at Tunnels in five days?" "I'd like to but am busy, why didn't you ask me about this further in advance?" Infuriating.
  13. Mostly we're just unfit, clumsy oafs who injure ourselves/each other because we're.. unfit and clumsy. I did my hamsting n a non-ab mus game
  14. I did some keepie-uppies tonight. It stretched my torn hamstring. There was pain. I threw a football tonight. It stretched my torn hamstring. There was pain. I passed a football tonight. It stretched my hamstring. There was pain. Tip to you all. Don't tear a hamstring.
  15. To be fair, there was much creativity from Liechetenstein. I've never seen so many different ways of trying to cripple Scottish footballers
  16. That oaf McManus owed us that after costing us the goal that thuggish mob scored due to his completely inept defending. He can fuck off out of the Scotland squad.
  17. I started a thread about this a while back, and it met with universal disdain. BTCC is fucking ACE
  18. But not as bad as this: Does anyone fancy a lasagne sandwich? Tesco launches a 'world first' | Mail Online
  19. Erm, you do realise you're on ABERDEEN music here? It meant something in 1983...
  20. Jon's in, I'm reliably informed from across the room
  21. Settle Adam. Does your sister fancy a game? I'm out. Proper fucked my hamstring tonight.
