I am after a smaller output head for portability and home use. Still excessive but I'll probably pick up the ENGL Gigmaster 30. It should do the trick. Also got a hankering for another guitar. I'll pick up a Les Paul Custom at some point no doubt, but I don't know whether to go for something bespoke again first and get the stupid guitar thing out of my system.

Never thought I'd receive this news through A-M. That is indeed my car but it is going out to MOT once the garage I put it into goes over it and fits the necessary bits I dropped off. Was waiting on a call to say it was ready for the MOT (didn't know whether it'd be this week or next) but you have answered that for me. Thanks

100% incorrect. My problem is playing one of my 'nice' guitars for a while then going to a cheaper one. Regardless of sound (which for me is 50% of the credentials) it - comparatively - feels shit and is uninspiring, making me want to put it down and revert back to the nicer guitar. It is all relative. If I had never played custom shop stuff, I may not have disregarded lower end stuff. It isn't about being a brand whore or a snob, it is preference. Unfortunately for me, my preference GENERALLY comes at a greater price. There have been occasions where I've played ultra high end Fenders and they've been no better than old Squiers. Just the nature of the beast...

I use the MXR KFK-1 10 band EQ. The only difference between it and the regular MXR 10 band is that it has 2 outputs so can run 2 amps simultaneously.

Just started watching Game of Thrones. Sky 1 are showing them through from the start again on Monday nights. I had never seen it before. 2 episodes in and I've enjoyed it so far.

FIFA 13 is pretty good. I really liked 12 though so feel it is a polished version. That suits me just fine. I'll no doubt buy it. NHL 13 is ace too.

Bingo (regards your suggestion of it being abused). Also, the discount is primarily for touring bands now I believe. That became the case not long before my last few shifts. As for my weekend: Tonight - Learn how to use AutoCAD then beers + FIFA then probably to the Moorings. Tomorrow - 3rd last official shift at R&B. It has been a good 9 years though Then meet up with mates and get some beers in. Sunday - Undecided as yet. I may already have plans, but I can't remember what they are.

My Dunlop Custom Shop DCR-2SR rack mount Crybaby arrived on Friday morning, just in time for Bison recording at the weekend. Sounds fantastic, so much range, lots of voicing options and well built. Have wanted one for years.

Recorded our album out at the Mill and it has been mixed and mastered and is sounding pretty good (IMO of course!). It will be released in September so if anyone wants a copy we can get that sorted out soon! Slipknot/Stone Sour guitarist signature model. He has a dual hum Tele sig too. All available here. The Tele I tried was awesome. Mahogany body, dual hum, maple neck, ebony board. Sounded similar to my old Gibson Zakk.

I'll need to double check the depths, but I'm sure they are 12x9, 13x10, 16x16 and the bass drum is 22x18. I'll confirm though.

Got a budget in mind? Also, would you prefer valve or solid state? Mini head or combo?

I probably hate wanker pedestrians more than wanker bikers. Wanker pedestrians are more mouthy whilst being more in the wrong which makes me want to accidentally wheelspin on their faces that much more.

It was a phone conversation regarding the offer. I asked for an email to be sent out with their offer so that I can quickly mull it over (didn't know what to say!) and give them a call back. I think that the one I've already been offered will be the higher paid. They have put a figure down already. Place 2 didn't specify but asked me my expectations and I don't think - for the particular position - they would offer as much as place 1. The jobs would be a bit different. 1 would probably be more my thing and I think I am inclined to go with it, but I was just that bit unsure as it isn't a position I've been in before to make the decision! Only rubbish thing is the lovely flowing locks have to go for job 1 but not job 2 Kind of expected that though!
