  9. hahahahahahahaha ELP are pretty damn awful. Though i still think "fanfare for the common man" is ace. If everyone in the world woke up to that track, we would all be living in a far better place.

  13. I am also going to look into this. Thanks for letting me know
  14. MY favourite of their albums is Signify (from what i've heard of them so far). I really don't hear it as sterile at all. It's really refreshing for me to hear some modern day prog rock. The track "Idiot's Prayer" (i think) is just totally awesome, and theres really nothing sterile abou it. They do have the occassional let down of a track, i admit, and theres something about the lead guitar sound which is a bit off for me. Not sure what it is yet. But I think your being fairly harsh about them though. They are an original sounding band imho. You have to give them that - Steve Wilsons personality aside.
  15. I love Porcupine Tree. Would've really liked to go to this gig but things didn't work out. Bugger. How were PT anyway? They play mainly stuff from their most recent album? Haven't seen them live, so dont know about Steve Wilson being a twat. I can imagine it though, with his voice...
  16. Anyone love this album? I've never heard it mentioned on here despite its brilliance It's a totally fucking incredible album. folky and country-ish with lots of aceness! Nice lyrics too! Even the album title is amazing! What does everyone else think of it?
  17. Wow i don't particularly like ales, but when you word it the way you did in that post it suddenly sounds a lot more appealing Methinks i shall look forward to the arrival of these new fine ales When can we try them?
  18. "Girl thought he was a man, but he was a muffin" Some people like cupcakes better. I for one care less for them... Awesome!
