  1. Just "turning off" before you fall asleep i always find it the nicest way to forget
  2. Last night was awesome fun. Sundays have been really good in recent weeks at bar. The added bonus of some trumpet last night, i was REALLY digging!
  3. To be honest, i don't actually care that much. I'm just in a really, really bad mood. I'm moaning and complaining about most things at the moment. I'll be alright when i get some addlestones down me...
  4. I applied late for the music college, not sure if i'll get in, but i've tried... Ye can expect no metal from me. Just psychadelia and space(d) riffage
  5. hmm. Maybe this film doesn't exist and this is a sign that it is ready to be made! I'd actually like to see this film now...
  6. i just can't believe that they closed the other thread related to this, in the bastardish way they did. "Well seeing as theres already a thread... blah blah blah CLOSED" God people take things so seriously
  7. Bump. Still looking for keyboard player. Rest of the band is confirmed! Anyone up for this at all?
  8. just purchased "Magma - Spiritual" Ain't listened to it yet. Think i'll save it for a more appropriate time
  9. Phil Collin's is an amazing drummer and i love early genesis. Still, for some reason i've always seen Phil as a bit of a knob. I don't really know why, and it's not really that justified, but it makes me chuckle having a go at phil collins... It does piss me off a wee bit that at pretty much every massive charity concert phil collins can be seen behind the drum kit. HES ALWAYS SOMEWHERE, DOING SOMETHING!!!! Grr...
  10. Yeah, i really liked Turning 13. Shame I didn't see you guys once more before you split. I'll always remember the first time i saw you guys play, supporting Psychid at Lava. That was an ace night!
  11. I saw them at the wickerman festival just at the weekend, and i have to say, they were REALLY good. Not really my cup of tea, but still, they were ace. PS Not as good as Space Ritual though
  12. Well tomorrow i'm going to have a jam with the other guitarist, Rob (wishbone g on the forums). Our bassist is Thom (also in the midnight noise collective), who is really the perfect bassist for this band. My good friend, Alex, hopefully on percussion and vocals. Plus, hopefully, Marve on drums (although that is yet to be confirmed). Still early days yet, but after jamming with Rob tomorrow, i hope to get a full band practise organised very soon! The keyboards i imagine will come in to it a wee bit later, after we get our feet on the ground. Hopefully i'll be able to switch between guitar, electric sitar, and even my newly purchased cuatro for this band! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i can't wait! It's actually going to happen! If your ever interested in having a jam, some flute would CERTAINLY not go amis here Though, as i say, before anything like that gets involved, best we get our feet in the ground first. . . It could turn out to be shite But i'll never give up on this project!
  13. Hey everyone. I've managed to piece together a line up for a prog/psychadelic/experimental band. We'd be looking to do a lot of different styles of music. However, today i've been listening to an "ambient" radio station and have decided that it would be awesome to have a capable key player in the band too. Preferably ability to play synth as well as keyboard (I have a microkorg handy too). Also quite a versatile player would be great. I know its a long shot to find anyone, but if anyone is interested, just pm me or reply to this post. Some of our influences include: Can, Steve Hillage, Yes, Tool, Neu!, King Crimson, and Tangerine Dream Ofcourse, similar influences aren't vital but if you know at all what i'm talking about... then great! Rory
  14. Indeed. "The Power of Christ Compels You" may yet make a return...
  15. Well I'd certainly be up for this. Haven't been to an open mic night in a while... I shall be there on Sunday!
  16. Cats are fucking awesome. No other creature has such dignity.
  17. Though i am skint right now, i would like to be able to go. The Globe is a nice place to go every now and again, and i ain't been there in ages
