  1. Yeah 150 for Boss GT6, boxed with manual n all that jazz. Good as new. Also selling Pod XT with floorboard if anyone is interested.
  2. Ta! Nice. Looking for some nice blade runner-esq visuals to go over the music. Just for extra spaceyness:up:
  3. I'm quite interested to have some good visual art to compliment the music of my new band the snake temple kings. Any good contacts for that type of thing?
  4. Yeah i've enjoyed a few awesome club nights at Snafu on a friday and saturday evening. Not normally my thing but every time i'm in there i love it! 8)
  5. I think the album is good but shows little evolution since Lateralus. I was anticipating the album to be a lot heavier and more proggy. Some of the songs are also a bit... boring actually, in my opinion. It is definately something any Tool fan would buy and enjoy anyway
  6. From my listen of the album i was quite unimpressed actually. Good music, but from the stuff i've heard (whether its ACTUALLY the new album or not), doesn't really show much of a progression or evolution since lateralus. Hopefully it won't be their official new release.
  7. Sounds good. The song sounds an awful lot like Schism to me though. I'm hoping the rest of the album sounds different to other tool stuff so far and that they have taken themselves further. Only time will tell i guess. . .
  8. That post made reading this thread worthwhile
  9. Top 5 pieces to be hungover too. 1. Magma - Da Zeuhl Wortz Mekanik (I'm possesed to dance by Magma every time i hear them, especially when hung over. I've yet to work out why) Actually i've just realised i don't listen to anything else when i'm hung over. . .
  10. I've now put new versions of the songs up. Same tracks, but Philip (aka MKII), has overdubbed some flute and mellotron on them, so you can get a taster of what we might sound like with Philip in The Snake Temple Kings. Cheers again Philip for sending those, i'm really digging your additions!
  11. o_O Seriously, i could play with that all day
  12. Id love to see the Ozric Tentacles play. Having Gong and Jah Wobble back would also make me very happy 8)
  13. Yeah i'm looking forward to buck 65 at the tunnels! Space Ritual are also playing in June at the tree. Basically, they're Hawkwind but with more of the original members. Saw them at the wickerman festival last year. Very good
  14. Just reading this thread was enough to get "Welcome to the fucking jungle" stuck in my head. Rats. . .
  15. Kaleidoscope - Dive into yesterday Cpt Beefheart - Kandy Korn Amon Duul II - Soap Shop Rock - I adore this track! The Beatles - Tomorrow never knows Tomorrow - My White Bicycle Anyone know Status Quo's "Ice in the Sun". Its another one of their earlier ones, though not as good as pictures of matchstick men
  16. Drinking definately can improve my playing. Just a couple of pints can loosen me up a lot more, and ideas come through that i don't even have time to think about, but just play them; and it works. It really needs to be the right amount of booze though, just a wee bit too much can fuck everything up. As keilan said, there is a perfect balance. It's a lot harder keeping that balance in the moorings when you have a discount. . .
  17. I like the way someone at the end says "You're an idiot". . .
  18. As ever, its all awesome! Introduction and Monoday Forecast would have to be my favourites. Love those Fripp-esq guitar tones. The writing in the pieces are also of really high standards there. Well done, man. I'm going to have another listen to Observations of a dream. Sounds perfect for just drifting off to!
  19. Cheers dude! Anymore feedback at all from anyone? So far it's been helpful so if anyone else has a thought, please share.
