BC Rich sexiest spikiest Bass for sale it's called a Beast BC RICH Beast 4 string electric bass , beautiful marbled red colour, and fantastic shape , offers of 350 pristine as new condition , never gigged . PM me cheers Biz.
  2. Xs Relocat Are No More Tae! BUT the mighties are back , after an 8 year break , we deserve a special award for that , such as a gig at a Fudge night , as long as it's a Friday or Saturday.
  3. Fuck Getting Signed Beware what you ask for kids , being signed means getting into a lot of debt and having to work your way out of it for years , just do it yourselves , it's more fun and nothing beats gigging , although if you can handle inane interviews and miming to your stuff, I'm not stopping you , puppets.
  4. the youth are revolting As you get older you realise speed and volume are not everything , so ... Murray Duguid - Maple Jim Ewen - Stacato set / Spaceboy.
  5. on second thoughts... on closer inspection it is clearly a speaker , it is a great CD and I just wish it was longer than 32.49 though. Nice artwork too , although I suspect you must have fallen out with Scott as it looks like he has a shiner on the slate scratching , he he he , nice one guys , it is my favourite CD of the year so far, I only take it off, so I can take it with me to the car, and play it again ,cheers , Biz.

  13. Shift SHIFT @ the Castlegate Sat 30th Oct 2004 2pm - 10 pm Jim Ewen , Sharon Drakes , Peacock Visual Arts and Limousine Bull pulled together a multimedia extravaganza at the Castlegate in a huge marquee tent with heating / a bar / portaloos / street entertainers etc which was a magnificent spectacle to behold . The tent was a great venue , lovely and toasty , and for once , Jimmy the sound engineer got his arse is gear, and made all the acts sound professional. The hands on creative art was great fun , to the extent of me only listening to the bands , as I was far too busy being creative to give my usual unbridled attention to the performances. It was great to see so many people from different backgrounds participating in an event which seemed at the time to be as much BY the public as FOR them. It was very well attended , with The Staccato Set and Kasule giving the stand out performances , and the projections at times STUNNING. I sauntered off to Dr Drakes to hear more music , which was provided by a guy on guitar and vocals ,who was very good , another guy on vocals / keyboard who was also very good , and then , Amy Sawers (she is a fox , her music even foxier ) , singing her heart out like PJ Harvey with her bass player and drummer doing sterling work. I managed to get a quick word with Jim Ewen who organised it , and played drums with The Staccato Set , who said it was a resounding success , and , as a punter , I had to agree , THANX VERY MUCKLE everyone , it was the best Saturday afternoon I've had for ages , cheers Biz.

    John Peel Dies

John Peel champion of the common man I am gutted , I have listened to him for around 25 years , he changed my life incredibly. On a positive note Mark Radcliffe ( BBC radio) and Vic Galloway( BBC Radio 1 and Radio Scotland ) are fine DJs who also champion the sort of music we really want to hear. Cheerio JOHN PEEL you will be missed .
  20. Radio Scotland today I was speaking about it at 1230pm on the radio, it was funny, you can listen to it again,if the bloody computer lets you ,which today it hasn't ,pity , it was pretty entertaining.
  21. Rickenbacker bass Neils bass player sounded great , I think he played the guitar/vox for the other band too.The drummer looked like he was playing left handed playing a right handed kit ,and he was good in all the bands ,I missed Radio Lucifer boo hoo.
  22. ha ha ha At last , you have advertised a gig!, I have seen you gig about a dozen times, and virtually every time it has been by sheer chance, can't wait for the CD ,cheers and good luck Biz.
