  1. 1st year MEng product design engineering at Glasgow. Hopefully switching to second year though if I complete a mystery "assignment." I'm in Murano Street right now. My flat's really nice.

    A job?

Yeah it's 5 an hour regardless of what menial job you get assigned. I think I'm manning the "Pasta King" for hours on end. Easy peasy.
  3. Ollie owes me two cds and I owe Connie two. Let the collapse commence...
  4. Jesus, I knew Sean "back in the day". I can't begin to imagine what a horrific ordeal it was for those who were there when it happened. Sad news.

The Marriott hotel in Dyce need people for housekeeping. Oh, and I noticed a window poster advertising vacancies in Subway near Queens Cross. The AECC is hosting a big oil, offshore Europe convention thing from the 5th to the 9th of September. They need 250 extra staff to do this and showing up will get you a job.
  6. I pretty much dream every night, and I usually remember them in the morning. My typical dreams are of pretty mundane things, on more than one occasion I have dreamt of waking up, answering my phone, having a conversation, then falling back to sleep, and it can take me quite a bit to figure out it didn't actually happen. This morning I had a dream that was pretty much a rerun of the night I'd just had in town with only a few minor changes, seeing friends that weren't actually there and things like that. Those are pretty common, they're so close to my everyday life that I do have to momentarily question if it happened or not; dreams about being in school, being out in town, I've had a couple of supermarket dreams as well. When I was in primary 1, I remember waking up and looking under my pillow for the party bag and ice lolly I dreamt I'd put under the pillow after a friend's party. My mother came through to find me stripping the bed, in floods of tears. I just remember being so confused and angry, I put it there! That's when I learned about dreams. My bad dreams all follow a similar format too. They always involve me having to constantly hide from/be chased by something be it vampires, pirates, zombies... haha, and I always have to protect someone, someone in my family, my friends... in the pirate one I needed to protect this hourglass so I could save my mum and dad or we'd be stuck in pirate time forever! Too many computer games? The worst thing about those dreams is that I feel so tired from them, they usually come if it's a hot night and I'm restless and had trouble getting to sleep in the first place. I just get so tired of trying to think of how to outsmart the bad guys that I try to tell myself to wake up. I freakin' love having dreams. Sometimes I try and think of something I want to dream about to give my brain inspiration. That never seems to work though. I also like when obscure people feature in them, and you can't figure out any logical reason why they would make an appearance.
  7. Interesting. The version I'm familiar with is that it was her sleeping with a sixth year pupil. Megan's cousin's best friend Todd. Megan went to her cousin's 21st and the Craw was there too. She's gone off to Australia for a year anyway.
  8. My Mum's, cousin Claire's, aunt came to adopt her niece (My Mum's cousin). This woman is Sally Kellerman who had her breasts out in Mash, and is the narrator of a new animated film coming out called Delgo. Her husband is Jonathan Crane, a poducer who used to manage John Travolta, now a family friend, and has produced films such as Swordfish and Face/Off. Claire makes jewellery and Sheryl Crow bought a $500 dog collar for her pooch from her, and Claire gave my scruffy dog one for free when she came to visit. Sally also adopted twins called Jack and Hannah, Claire's brother and sister. Hannah's best friend from school is Julie Andrew's daughter. They're so rich we had to teach Hannah how to use a payphone. Tim, the brother in law of the main lady from "the Mummy" lived in our cottage for a year or so. There was a programme made about my Dad and his friend Mike for the BBC when they were about 20, because they built a plane from scratch. I was on Songs of Praise.
  9. Why are you selling it? I'm just curious.
  10. Hehe, it was fun. I'd not heard anything off the new album though so I was just happy when the old tunes came up. I was sure they were going to play video killed the radio star at the end. But alas, can't win them all.
  11. So... I read this... The Dresden Dolls have cancelled their imminent European dates. Kind of. Amanda Palmer will be playing Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow as solo shows. The rest of the European dates (all festival appearances) are cancelled completely. Brian Viglione (the other half of the 'Dolls) is not ill, has not left the band, and nothing sinister is going on. He simply does not wish to tour at this time. From Amanda's blog: Quote: Brian doesn't want to go, is going through his own thing, and I am very supportive of him... I am still going to go play the shows we were scheduled to do in Scotland, alone, which is slightly terrifying but should be fun. Emily is coming with me and it's fringe-festival time in Edinburgh, which I've dreamed about going to see I was a Wee Bairn. I'm bracing myself for a flood of emails about Why The Tour Is Cancelled and Are You Ok and Is Brian Ok and general What The Fuck and am deeply considering coming up with some kind of auto-reply to spare myself typing the same email 148 times.
  12. I gave Rangers their breakfast this morning.
  13. eighty-six pounds and sixty seven pence
  14. Haha, nah, they do. Especially in the lobster photo.
  15. I work for catering and banqueting at the Marriott hotel in Dyce. Haven't been there long, but it's quite fun working at the weddings, everyone's happy and drunk. Tomorrow I'm working in housekeeping, I'm a bit worried I find a dead body in a closet or something.
  16. Damn straight. *personal attack*
  17. Cowboy Dan and Paulscoconutass also have female lookalikes who frequent my old school. It'll be a hard task getting my hands on photographic proof though.
  18. Go away Milner. 80. Why are there no headphones?
  19. 60, I mean come awn.... there aren't even headphones. I hope there's nothing silly inscribed on the back.
  20. 50%. Pfft, just because I know how to change the oil in a car.
  21. Haha, nooooo, letting the side down. Make Kathy come out, it'll be like a reunion, only minus Pip. It's alright though, she was probably eaten by a snake in Peru or something, she won't mind.
  22. Ollie, Myself, and Connie are doing alright. Plans have been made for round 2.
