  1. Each consists of three units. Applied Maths = Mechanics 1, Mechanics 2, and calculus. Pure Maths = The same calculus unit, further calculus, sequences and series and heaps of annoying seemingly pointless theorems. Applied is practical stuff, like looking at friction, gravity, things rolling down slopes etc. from a mathematical perspective. I think there were only 57 people sat the exam, we just had a class of 2, it was pretty good.
  2. Good, I want a couple. I'm just lazy and not in town all that often.
  3. Haha, I'm just kidding. I'm affa chuffed.
  4. Advanced Applied Maths - A Advanced English - A Advanced Physics - A Advanced Pure Maths - B Ok I suppose.
  5. Yeah, there was just something not right about it. I think it was the scene with all the kids clambering round the sweetie counter like it was last orders at the bar or something. Nothing special, a bit creepy.
  6. Nit, exodus. The person below me doesn't appreciate what's right in front of them.

    Taxi!

Yeah, agreeing on a price beforehand is a winning idea for a long journey. 4 of us got a ride from town to Glassel (Banchory and beyond) for 25 that way.
  8. Balls, what's the difference between orlaih and maxwell.
  9. Winner, I could manage Sunday, but only if there's enough interest as I am rubbish at football.
  10. I was going to say, I'm sure you wanted to see how many you could get. I know I've seen Twysta's tape lying around.
  11. I'd like to do it. But, I can only make a cd because I don't have tape recording facilities.
  12. ... - I wouldn't worry about it, you've been excluded.
  13. Hahaha, that's great. Silly msn.
  14. My cousins live on Mullholland drive. Hence I'm quite keen to see the film.
  15. There by no means has to be a link, but, personally, I think I'd have enjoyed it more if the film concentrated on one interesting idea than filling it with lots of vague elements. Why did they vaporise some humans, when they apparently sucked out their innards for sustinance? I remain stubbornly ignorant to much of, if not all that was good about this film. Films about human nature do it for me, not this spectacle, storytelling malark. I hear that it sticks fairly close to the book, but then I doubt I'd choose to read a book of this genre in the first place. In hindsight I should have saved my 6 and gone for another ice cream at the Washington Caf rather than see a film that's trailer didn't appeal to me, but then hindsight's a wonderful thing.
  16. You know, I tried to sleep on it, and yet I'm still infuriated.
  17. 1. Inside and Out - Feist 2. Gyroscope - The Dismemberment Plan 3. The Leanover - Life Without Buildings 4. Wet Blanket - Metric 5. Hail to Whatever You Found in the Sunlight that Surrounds You - Rilo Kiley
  18. Get in. 440. I particularly hate the piece with a square of land in each corner. Worst shape ever.
