  1. ...and an even happier birthday for next weekend in our mass birthday extravaganza.
  2. I'll buy six feet under, please, thankyou.
  3. Jenni.

    hoodies

Topshop has heaps of hoodies in... looks like they're getting trendy boys and girls.
  4. I'm supposed to be going to Glasgow on the Megabus tomorrow. A wet motorway, strong winds and a shaky double decker bus, somehow I don't know if it's the safest way to be going.
  5. This show's awesome. Series one was ace, I loved the thing with Sheila's daughter and Frank.
  6. Well they're just going to start with the boys coming up from nursery into primary one, possibly primary two and three if there's much interest. They would have made the whole lower school co-ed if it wasn't for the fact that a lot of parents probably put their daughters there in the first place because it was an all girls school. It's all supposed to be very promising, more income should mean they can implement some of the improvements we've been asking for for years, but it's all part of a long term plan. What a drama, check the paper for more info, there was a press conference and a'thing. Oh yeah, and they'll wear little dark grey shorts, grey socks, white shirt, same tie and same blazer. Girls will be allowed to wear white or green shirts.
  7. Yup. Albyn school for Girls becomes Albyn School. as of October term 2005. When you hear the actual details it's a lot less interesting than the headline suggests.
  8. hah, the first one was pants. Cereal and Milk however, is fantastic.. what a tune!
  9. I thought it was alright. I wouldn't particularly recommend it unless you have both time and money to burn. The theme is about family relationships. Consequently my mother really enjoyed it. It's no Toy Story.
  10. I only managed to get into the first room, I wish the art gallery would stay open later. I'll be in again some time though. Notably I like Trace.
  11. I went to see them last night for some evening entertainment. Hiding with Girls were boring, The Bled put on the best performance, Alexisonfire were pretty good. That's my non-informative 2 cents. The screamo's not really my thing these days. The gig was sold out a while ago and some shmucks were paying 30 for tickets outside. We're all pretty lucky when bands bother coming up here. I also learnt it's alexis on fire, not alex is on fire. Which, is nice to know.
  12. I'm not that keen on winter, since I hate being cold and it always being dark. Christmas is warm, with lots of films on telly, family in my house, a fire in the fireplace and lots of food to eat. It gives me something to work towards and take my mind off the fact my toes are icy cold and for that I love this time of year. By the time you get there you're halfway through winter, the days have already started getting longer. I can't stop singing Christmas tunes and am filled with festive cheer.
  13. No, I never managed to get my hands on a programme.. and consequently missed them. I caught the needles though, so all was well.
  14. Hmm the band lineup link on the glassel site doesn't even link to anything. I was wondering roughly when the simon gall band are on. Any ideas? Wouldn't want to miss those chaps, but I don't think we're heading down 'til 8ish. I'm mightily excited.
  15. I went to Glassel two years ago and the transport was a fair operation. 6 of us got a taxi from town and we paid 40 which wasn't too bad since it's a fair trek, though I've since learned that there are busses leaving from town earlier in the day which, to the best of my knowledge, are free! - everyone's favourite price. Then after the shindig at about 1 I recall there was a fleet of busses all journeying to Aberdeen or there about at a set price of 4 so you can have a snooze and since we were the last kids on the bus the kindly driver took us right to our door. Can't say better than that. Glassel's lots of fun, you should all attend.
  16. Boyzone... '97. before steven came out..Isn't it a wonder. First real gig was Green Daze and Dink and someone else, x-certs most likely.
  17. Good day, good sir. I shall bake you a cake, and then the merriment can begin. Only when I get back though.... or else.
  18. I'd always thought it was a giraffe. Its head's up above the trees... this is an upsetting revelation.
  19. I was standing and had a perfect view which, was nice. Except that beyond the rail were the purple banders who just waltzed around in their acres of space. Pharrell was so cute, all dressed up for the occasion. I thought N.e.r.d. were ace. Walking into the stadium was a pretty awesome sight as well.
  20. They're supposed to be touring the UK in summer.
