  4. Happens all the time, anyone remember The Hives at the east neuk? DIdn't think so....
  5. That was me...I have a dodgy ankle...
  6. I really wish I coud afford a decent guitar....just now I'm scraping by on a mex fender strat which sounds great I think, but has a lot of problems with the bridge and intonation, the shitty tunings I'm using in some new things is fucing the guitar up and makes me sound out of tune all the time. Used to play an epiphone les paul 100 (thinner than a Studio) which was great aswell, despite having "Samsung" pickups, (currently not working)....I've always been complimented on my guitar tones though Unfortunately an angry girlfriend smashed up my Aria Pro II guitar which was a bargain at 60 and sounded pretty good despite having zero sustain, got me a taste for single coil sounds again as it had a coil tap....first guitar was an encore strat copy which I used on two recordings, listening back it just sounds cheap and nasty now Been close to buying some new guitars recently (epiphone, stagg...) but really want to stop myself from going for 2nd bests....quite into the look of a fender cyclone which is cheap as chips, but I need to try one out first....other than that....think I really want a les paul junior, which Gibson only sell as part of their custom guitar workshop, love the sound of P90's, that and maybe a Les Paul 1954 Gold Top.....can but dream I suppose....
  7. DAMN! Would love to see 7 Seconds .... but Sick of it All are a bit too meat-headish for me, and Slapshit?? Bring your hockey mask kids.....
  8. Never noticed it before but that guy states the band HEROIN as the ultimate band...fuck yeah!!! They are awesome!!! I got into them thinking they would sound like another band (heard some references to them) but just wasn't prepared for what i heard.....I wish I still had most my old vinyl collection Wow! Just found one of their songs (and one of my favourites) here!!! "moving parts" http://www.epitonic.com/artists/heroin.html I *never* classed these guys emo though.......
  9. For myself it would have to be Green Day.....prior to listening to Green Day I was stuck in a time warp haze of Hendrix, Beatles, The who etc.....NOTHING that was current appealed to me....nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam...whoever....I think after Cobain's suicide a lot of grungers ("smellies") either got further depressed, or thought "fuck this, don't wanna be heading that way!" and dookie was the perfect album to crossover to.....I put down my Sgt.Peppers album to listen to it And yeah...then once you listen to one punk band...blah blah.....you wonder why you've wasted the past 10 years of your life.... AS FOR weezer.....the only song I know by them is that Buddy Holly song...so yeah...not very important at all
  10. Always a copy or 2 floating around for the princely sum of 3
  11. Thanks man, will let you know once things are moving a bit more forward
  12. ERADICATE - Punks still not dead (tape) 500 hand produced copies (we stopped at 500, maybe I'll find the tally count some day) 500 produced in poland and seemingly sold out Plus eventually we let a fair few non-profit (and for profit) distro's do up their own runs of 20-30 So yeah loads of copies there ERADICATE - Get Active (tape) 250 Hand produced copies Plus eventually we let a fair few non-profit (and for profit) distro's do up their own runs of 20-30 Inept 303 - Rotting Away CD Maybe only 50 copies in total I made at least 100
  13. Heh nope, should have mentioned Vegas is strictly audio only....just not a midi man myself here....all I use cubase for is mixing audio (wav tracks).....even things that would be easier in MIDI (like drum triggers) I cut and paste in Cubase cos its just easier, no latency problems working with wav files....you're in full control.....
  14. Personally I can't stand Cool Edit (or adobe audition as its now known), just looks shit and takes too many clicks to get decent things done..... For simplicity recording and features aplenty, Sony Vegas is worth checking out. Its a video editing bit of software, but is a very powerful multitrack program, I run it on my laptop for capturing audio before porting to cubase or nuendo....probably costs a few notes mind (kazaa! kazaa!!!) VEGAS CUBASE Of course, I'd recommend a res of at least 1400x1280 to use these programs......sucks on my laptop
  15. May get the chance to record some vocals tomorrow...thanks for al the comments so far!
  16. After dealing with some of the biggest assholes in the crowd ever when I went to see Converge in London, I'll probably give this a miss... "duh...american band...fast music...men shouting...must punch people in face...."
  17. Its all a ploy, eradicate just ripped off that unknown band eradciate and re-released their limited to 16 and a half copies of their 14" folding flexi disc......
  18. Can always trust on you timson hehe I've fixed the link to our "top 20 potential hit" "somewhere to go".....hehe fanzine writers speak such shit
  19. Sam...if your text was serious......BUY IT!
  20. This came out on tape in early 1997 and we must have hand copied around 500 copies to sell...it was later officially pressed (to tape) in Poland and sold out of its initial (and only) run of 500 copies..... 1000 punx can't be wrong enjoy..... 1. The Half World | 2:12 2. Punk's still not dead | 2:45 3. Grotesque | 1:16 4. Rocksteady | 2:32 5. Rowdies | 1:28 6. Beer | 2:14 7. Excitement | 1:46 8. Somewhere to go | 3:01 9. Ring of hate | 1:52
