Dreamweaver has limited PHP support, the code is bulky though, and if you modify their code, sometimes it will just erase the lot!! Mind you, for doing simple database driven stuff, dreamweavers PHP/MySQL capability can be sufficient enough if you don't want to learn a programming language....
