Taken from another place online:

Nowadays' date=' you can see lots of people trying

to save certain animals from being mistreated, like

protecting the sharks or whales from being

hunted.

But I can't see the diference between

eating a steak and killing a shark.

Anyway, they are all life forms.

In China, people from other countries are

attempting to save bears from being used as

a source of gall bile

by the chinese farmers.

But why not save

the poor chickens in commercial farms

which are kept in very tiny cages which do

not even have enough space for them to turn a

round!!

Maybe we should all stop eating meat!

It's not unhealthy or lacking enough essentials

because all the vegetarians around the world

are still perfectly fine and healthy.

Now the main problem is:

- Should we continue eating meat as the world's

population continues to expand rapidly??

- Or should we stop eating meat and everyone changes to

become a vegetarian?

(since it's considered to be

cruel to kill other life forms)

Benefits of becoming a vegetarian:

Freedom for all farm animals!

Eating less unhealthy food

No need to cut any animal bodies or organs=> more convienient & less mess

Eating more healthy food!

No more interference with the animals' life and death.

Increase in animal population!

More animals to conduct researches on.

No more artificially caused extinction of any animals!

and many more!!!

Fuck off.

I'm helping the environment in this issue. Our whole family eat bacon and we have our own pig that we take strips from each morning.

The neighbours aren't too happy about the noise, but we just don't believe in the slaughter of animals for the mass market.

there was something in the paper today that basically questions vegetarians decision to not eat meat as it is cruel - scientists are growing meat from a cluster of cells. It goes through a process of growing and then stretching, although they havent mastered how to make it "tasty" yet; it would just be a pile of mush without the stretching. It means that you would know exactly what was in the meat, no unnecessary hormones etc... So, if it was "grown" in a lab, and no animal was hurt in the process, would you eat it?

but what if one animal suffers to save hundereds of humans? is that not worth it?

(i know this isnt about eating meat' date=' but im all for it)[/quote']

No - there are too many humans as a result of this sort of thing. Every species has to have a percentage killed off to maintain a balance.

It is ridiculous to compare the eating habits of humans with that of animals. Non human animals eat flesh as they must. They do so instinctively. They cannot consider as we can.

well, after much carefull consideration, I WANT A DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDER, AND WHEN IM DONE IM GONNA DROP THE PLASTIC CONTAINER ON THE GROUND, THUS DESTROYING MOTHER EARTH IN THE PROCESS.

consider this my meat eating and meat friendly compadres.

if it wasnt for the fact that humans eat cows, they would probably be extinct as we keep them safe and well fed in enclosures. they would probably have been killed off by wild wolves (or snorlax's). so the mere fact we eat them, has probably saved the cows.....nay, the world.

why bother eating meat when you have such a selection of other foods?

your going on about it being naural, but no other animal on this planet have the choices we have, to walk into a superstore and choose what you want to eat.

its all evens out, the reason why we have teeth to eat meat is purely from the reason we have evolved from the times where we HAD to eat meat to survive.

eating meat increases your chances of getting numerous diseases than that of a vegetarian. plus, what satisfaction do you get out of eating somthing that had a life?

last point, why do most non-veggies instantly think that veggie only eat carrots, or trees, or grass...?

surely health wise it's better to eat a good balanced diet of vegetables' date=' fruit, poultry or fish and a little red meat with lots of potatoes/rice/pasta. anything else is a lifestyle/conscience choice.

and fuck atkins.[/quote']

Agreed.

It's healthy and balanced. I try not too eat too much red meat, but I do eat it.

Boop.
