scottyboy
Umm... so more albums then?
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Are people still interested?
Stroopy121
I definitely am! xx
scottyboy
I'm still interested. I'm hoping the silence/skipping of last round was just caused by that Skating Polly record (couldn't have been Mr Le. Nah. Couldn't be.) ?
Paranoid Android
I can't really commit to this at the moment, I've enjoyed taking part in it and it's probably the best idea anyone on this forum has had in a while but I just haven't been finding the time for it lately. If enough people are interested to keep it going I might try to pop in and out but I don't feel I should get to choose albums or be relied on to keep it going. kirsten
Same. I've been enjoying listening to the records people have picked but have just been stupidly busy so don't get round to the actual reviewing.
ca_gere
I'm still into it. I'd love it if we had a hip hop or electronic week.
Mr Owl PhD
I'm still interested in being involved. I should really post up reviews of the last lot! I might not always be able to contribute much over the coming few months though, but will do so when I can. This is a good thing.
Lemonade
If everyone's struggling so much for time how about changing the format to 1 album once a week? Surely everyone has time to listen to one album and write a paragraph about it.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Aye, I think that a rules revamp is in order. Less albums and perhaps more choice on what you can review. I was thinking that maybe we could pick from a weekly new releases website perhaps? Something that caters for more than one taste... I am quite aware that most of the albums reviewed were polarising at best, and that kind of thing wont work in the long term. Thoughts? Stroopy121
How about a choice of 3 and you just write a review on the one you liked most/least - whichever you felt made the biggest impression? I don't mind writing about stuff I love or that I hate, but I loathe writing about uninteresting art. A 2.5 / 5 review is the worst kind. xx
scottyboy
I agree that something like reviewing 1 of a choice of 3, or 2 of 5 or whatever, is probanly best. It kind of defeats the point if one just picks a new release already to one's taste. And it would be ncie if there was at least a bit of overlap in what people are reviewing... scottyboy
Bump. (Why has my post above vanished? Is that just me?) Some kind of Best-of-2016 themed (and possibly just one-off) revival?
Lemonade
I'd do this again. Maybe 1 album a week though. 3 was a bit much.
scottyboy
I propose: 10 days duration. Some people said 1 week was too short; 2 was too long. So, 10 days? Or 1 week is cool for me. 1-3 albums (or EPs). 3 are nominated, but on the understanding that people review 1, or 2, or 3, dependant on their time/tastes/inclination. So each round someone picks 3 of his/her top 10, and preferably a variety of styles from not so famous bands, and off we go. Who's with me? scottyboy
Cheeky: those aren't from 2016! Still, listening to Drinking Songs now... Shall we?
James Broonbreed
Ah, I overlooked that rule. My apologies, as you were.
