I've actually never seen it, but it looks dreadful.Yeah you're right, the writing, directing and production are all great, it's the two good actors who ruin it.They like everyone else were shit because they were given such shit to work with.I watched some of last night for a bit of nostalgia. It's much worse than I remember. It's pun, pun, pun, from all the characters, not just Freeze. The direction is bizarre, it's all weird camera angles and bright colours, bumbling police officers, exaggarated scenery, like a sort of bizarre 1940s gangster comic, sort of like Dick Tracy. The only person who seems to be in on the joke is Uma Thurman, her performance is so fucking weird, she may as well be winking at the camera for the entire movie.
