DanClews
Aye i avoid cat milk, gives scampi the runs as well, nae fun cleaning up when she runs out her box still shitting.Ours had the runs in the litter box, but then tried to cover it over with cat litter. And proceeded to flick squit all over our bathroom. We found some on the lightbulb.
Jaaakkkeee
Our kitten doesn't cover it's business up. it gets out of the box then tries to dig up the floor. fucking wierdo.
The Milner
Aye mines will leave the box with a hangeron then when it drops spend 10 minutes trying to figure out if the floor is made of litter or not. Or the bath, i have to keep the bathroom door closed at all times, otherwise she just assumes that she can have a shit in there.I always wanted to try and train her to use the toilet, but she cant be trusted in there on her own!
Jaaakkkeee
my cat fell in a bath of water the other day. it was the most hilarious thing ever.
The Milner
Its amazing how skinny a cat is when its wet, mines fell in a sink when she was younger, there was nothing of her underneath all that fur!
Soda Jerk
Practically all cats are lactose intolerant, despite what you see on Tom and Jerry.
Jaaakkkeee
Well it knows not to jump in the bath when theres water there now. Although it'll still jump in if it's empty and try to drnk the water. Little mink.
The Milner
Practically all cats are lactose intolerant, despite what you see on Tom and Jerry.Yeah cat milk has all the lactose taken out of it, its horrible stuff but my cat loves it when she gets it. That along with yoghurt, custard, rice pudding, ice cream, anything like that she will eat in a second. If i have a bath mines sits on the side trying to catch the bubblebath, whats funnier, is getting a big lump of bubbles and plonking them on her head, she has no idea what to do and just runs in circles and rolls about for ages.
Soda Jerk
The missus cats don't eat any human food, other than stuff it shouldn't have, like milk and cheese. I thought cats were meant to have smarts?
Stroopy121
Mine eats anything. Curry, pizza, meat and he fucking loves cheese and ice cream. He drinks Irn Bru, too.

Scootray
My cat loves cheese too. Her ears prick up and she comes running when you shout "Cheeseeeez". In her older years, she now like to come to the table and sit on my chair waiting for my tea to be served. She gets little bits then and again from our plates which she enjoys. The Milner
haha soda i proper lol'd at that, thank you.My cat wont touch fizzy drinks, infact when i first got her you couldnt leave a bottle or can of anything fizzy out as she would hiss and spit at it, and try to bat it over whilst running the opposite direction, was very funny seeing a 2 month old cat trying to take out a can of tennants and usually falling off the table whilst trying to do it.
Jaaakkkeee
What's your views on declawing?
DanClews
What's your views on declawing?Don't do it - its cruel.Plus if you cat ever wants to go outside, it will be shit in a scrap. It will have its ass handed to it - as it has no defence.
Scootray
Declawing seems extreme. Nail clipping, but not full declawing, that sounds shit.
The Milner
yeah i completely disagree with it, buy him a couple of good scratching posts and put them around the house, near places he usually sleeps or wakes up and he wont cause any real damage. I have one in the hall way because she always comes to greet you from work and its the first thing she does, on at the end of my bed, and the flatmates bed. Stroopy121
Yeah, de-clawing is akin to cutting off it's fingers. Although probably not as painful, itis about as debilitating for the cat. Don't do it.And no, my cat is hard as fuck. We should send him round to knock the fuck out of your Mrs' friend's scumbag boyfriend.xxxx
Jaaakkkeee
Aye was just seeing. I wouldn't want to declaw it. We're getting them trimmed. It's just to see if it was normal. We have a scratching post but he still climbs the walls and curtains and scratches fuck out your feet.
The Milner
Aye but he will for a while yet, he is young and exploring everthing, thats part of having a kitten man, it will last a year or so. Plus he is light enough to hold his weight climbing walls right now, he will grow out of that as well! I have never even trimmed my cats claws and she barely goes out, i personally dont see the point, dont want a young hyper thing scratching you, dont get a kitten! lol
Stroopy121
'Fraid he just has to grow out of it. Usual practice is when he does that, scoot him with a water pistol or something, but I found it just made my cat more aggressive...xx
Jaaakkkeee
Yeah we're getting a water pistol soon. Mwahahahaah.
The Milner
I just pin mines to the ground by her head when she gets too hyper, of course that makes her kick her back legs furiously but she runs off after and ruins something in the flat mates bedroom instead of ripping me to pieces. Water pistol is good tho, my cat is terrified of the water bottle, she know the sound of you picking it up and instantly disspears, skulking back through later on making sure its out the way. I've also found those cans of air you use for cleaning lap tops works brilliantly, scares the shit out of them.
Jaaakkkeee
It's terrified of febreeze. But that's expensive yo.Last night was horrid though. Would not calm down. I was up at 2.30 pulling it off the wall...
