The jingles are all the same and apart from Grant Stott (brother of celebrity sex pest John Leslie) the DJs on both stations talk in a sort of generic Scottish DJ accent that's impossible to place. When it first started I recall it having specialist folk, jazz etc slots......but I don't think that happens anymore....although I haven't checked their schedules for at least a decade, so maybe I'm wrong.I would like a local station to be like this in style....WFMU-FM 91.1/Jersey City, NJ; 90.1/Hudson Valley, NYbut, as Northsound is a commercial operation, sadly , I know it'll push the pap to people forever. Says they're a girl to avoid suspicion and then clearly states they're a noob... could be!The only history I know between this website and Northsound was that after the Greigsy "episode" Northsound requested the thread was removed. I didn't start this thread to flare it all up again, I just wanted to see how many other people feel like scalping themselves after listening to Northsound.And, yes, I know I can just "turn it off" and generally I do, although I am curious to know who deems these moronic DJ's entertaining. I mean there must be a higher body that listens to their mundane, retarded drivel and regards it appropriate entertainment. That's the big I don't get.
